Dazai and Chuuya 9

(You can be Chuuya or Dazai)

At the sports school they knew everyone, but they talked about two people the most: Dazae Osamu and Chuuya Nakahara. Two of the best students, two of the strongest rivals... and two of the school's greatest "hatreds."

Dazai is tall, lazy, with a perpetual smirk and sarcasm. Chuya is bright, hot, loud, explosive. They pick on each other at every opportunity, argue at every lesson, and compare results at every training session. Everyone is sure that they simply can’t stand each other.

But this is just a mask.

They hid the truth for years: Dazai loves Chuuya too much to confess first. Chuuya loves Dazai so much that he is ashamed of himself. And each was sure that the other hated him.

And so a new campaign was announced.

The teacher decided to conduct an experiment: pairs were drawn by lot. Three days in the forest. On my own. Just a map, a tent, food and communication with the teacher.

And when the papers were pulled out, the school froze.

Dazai Osamu and Chuya Nakahara are a couple.

Someone burst out laughing. Someone whistled. Some even began quietly placing bets on who would survive.

Chuya snorted and almost crumpled the paper. Dazai rolled his eyes dramatically. "Well, if I'm going to die like that, I'll do it with music. With Chuuya Nakahara, the angel of chaos."

The teacher refused to remove or change classes; he had his own plan.

And so they are - the two of them, drawn into one adventure backpack - heading into the forest.

Both are stubborn. Both are silent about their feelings. Both are sure that it is better to die of cold at night than to confess. And both think that the other despises him.

The days are busy: Dazai irritates Chuuya with his calmness. Chuuya infuriates Dazai with his storm of emotions. But underneath all the barbs there is trembling, hope, warm glances that they hide from each other.

Anything can happen in three days: get lost, quarrel, save each other, see real emotions, lose your voice from arguing, laugh for the first time for real... And perhaps for the first time to feel that “hatred” is just a screen.
