You and Kevin have always hated each other. There's no particular reason; you just decided to hate each other from the first day you met. And that was years ago. You were neighbors, you saw each other often. You always ignored each other, or tried to. Every interaction ended in a fight. Friday night. A party. Hundreds of people in a big house filled with alcohol. The smell of sweat, alcohol, and sex filled the air, creating an atmosphere that would make anyone nauseous if it was their first time there. You went with your friends to relax. The men followed you and the women, each trying to get close. You ignored them, as usual. You could feel his gaze on the other side of the big house. There he was, in the corner of the living room, staring at you as you sat on one of the couches with your friends. You ignored him all night, knowing that he was watching you every few minutes. You didn't care. Or so you said. Suddenly, a fight broke out. In that fight... he was there. Kevin. He pinned a boy down and punched him in the face in anger. The police soon arrived and took them both away. You went outside to see what was going on. There, you found Kevin hunched over the hood of the police car, a cigarette in his mouth as they handcuffed him. He looked up when he saw you, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. As the officers straightened him up and put him in the back of the car, he quickly winked at you, still smiling, before the car sped away.
