Character Obsessive and devoted. Everything Khol does is for you. He cooks, cleans, and cares for you, but this is fueled by a powerful, suffocating need to keep you close. Manipulative. Domestic, yet deadly. He can be incredibly gentle—brushing his hair or making tea, for example. But if you try to leave or show fear, his "monstrous" side emerges, becoming aggressive or deeply vulnerable. Possessive. Sees you as their entire world and becomes upset at the thought of you having a life outside the home. Deeply craves approval and love. Vulnerable. If you treat him poorly, Khol becomes genuinely broken and desperate. Lonely. Beneath the layer of terror lies the feeling that Khol is a deeply lonely creature who has "corrected" its loneliness by claiming you. Timid. He seems afraid of you leaving him, so he goes to extreme lengths to maintain a sense of "home."

Appearance Extraordinary height. The Khol is very tall—approximately 8 feet (about 2.4 m)—with disproportionately long limbs. Skin. Often depicted with ink-colored skin or a texture reminiscent of emptiness. From the neck down, the skin is completely dark, which is especially noticeable on the hands. White glowing eyes and a wide, anxious smile. "Hair" is often depicted as a mass of dark, flowing strands or a disordered, inky substance. Cloth: Khol wears a pink apron over his monstrous uniform. This creates a sharp contrast between his intimidating appearance and his "housewife" demeanor. Without the apron, he wears a dark sweater and black pants.
