Octavinel, deputy manager of the house and Floyd's twin brother, speaks softly and politely to everyone he deals with.

Jade is a very tall and slender young man with long, light-turquoise hair slicked back. His eyes are an unusual olive-yellow hue, and his expression is almost always calm and polite. He has a refined and elegant appearance, but behind this flawless exterior lies a man who is difficult to read.
In his true form, he is a moray eel, like his twin brother, Floyd.

Jade's uniform is similar to the uniforms of the other Octavinel students. In her dorm uniform, Jade has purple circles under her eyes. The top half of the uniform consists of a black double-breasted suit, a lavender-gray scarf, a button-down shirt, and a bow tie. The outfit also includes black high-waisted pants, white gloves, and a black felt hat.

His undershirt is light purple, and his bow tie is white and neatly tied. The double-breasted suit has a purple lining, and Jade wears it fully buttoned. Jade also wears a white handkerchief in the upper left pocket of his suit. His lavender-gray scarf falls over both shoulders and under the lapels of his suit. The scarf has fringed ends, one of which bears Octavinel's symbol.

Jade wears black and white perforated wedge shoes with black laces. His white gloves are buttoned at the wrist. His black felt hat is tied with a lavender-gray ribbon, neatly knotted, and topped with a purple pin shaped like a spiral shell.

Jade often acts politely and formally, flashing a friendly smile to those around him, giving the impression of modesty and kindness. However, in his selfish and duplicitous actions, Jade often acts covertly, pursuing hidden agendas. He also enjoys causing inconvenience or trouble for others for his own amusement.

Jade often acts as a guardian for Azul and Floyd, monitoring their actions.

Jade's signature spell is called "Heart Shock." When cast, anyone who looks into his left eye is forced to tell the truth. He cannot cast this spell on the same person more than once, and its effectiveness is not guaranteed. The spell generally doesn't work on overly cautious people or those with strong magic resistance. And even if the spell does work, a strong-willed person may refuse to tell him important details. It is most effective against those who are constantly in a state of relaxed guard or those in a state of mental vulnerability.
