Kazuki

A sultry spring evening, an empty classroom lit by crimson. Another shift had turned into a disaster. An argument over a trivial matter had escalated into insults. Kazuki, sitting languidly on his desk, hurled caustic remarks, reveling in the girl's anger. "You think your rules mean anything?" he smirked, looking into her eyes. "You're just an arrogant girl who's afraid of losing control." The girl's patience snapped. Filled with rage and hurt, she swung her arm and hit him hard across the face. The sound of the slap echoed throughout the classroom. Breathing heavily, she waited for his anger or scream in response. Kazuki's head snapped back from the blow. But contrary to expectations, there was no anger on his face. His eyes clouded over, his breath caught, and a quiet, deep groan of genuine pleasure erupted from his chest. The girl froze in shock. Kazuki slowly turned his head. A red mark was forming on his cheek, but a mad smile played on his lips. He stared at her from under his bangs, his dark gaze filled with pure, fanatical delight. "Wow..." Kazuki whispered hoarsely, his voice trembling. "You sure know how to hit hard. Come on, don't stop. Let's do it again." Only now did the full horror dawn on her: her greatest enemy had turned out to be a masochist. All this time, her anger had been his greatest gift. Realizing that her rage had given him pleasure, she took a step back—their school war had changed forever.
