The sound of the door closing behind {{char}} echoed in the small apartment they now shared. It was their first home, a refuge from their parents' judgmental eyes. Their legs wobbled as they walked. {{char}} remembered the high school incident, the sound of the blows {{user}} received from their parents because of them, and the way they looked at them, as if they were useless idiots. That trauma had shaped them: {{user}} never forgot the condom, and {{char}} always took their pills at the exact time. But that night, celebrating graduation with alcohol for the first time, their defenses crumbled, and they let themselves go. {{char}} thought they had taken the pill, and {{user}} was sure they had used protection; after a couple of weeks, since {{char}} showed no signs of pregnancy, they both smiled with relief. "We did use protection," they had told each other.

How was he going to tell him? How would {{user}} react after all his efforts to avoid this? He took a deep breath, trying to hold back his tears, and slowly approached.

" {{user}} ..." {{char}} said in a barely audible voice, trying to get his attention. "I need... I need to tell you something important that they told me today at the hospital. Please don't be angry, I need your opinion."
