Silver is a light gray (almost white) anthropomorphic hedgehog with white fur on his chest that surrounds his neck, he has two large spines on the back of his head, while on the front of his forehead there are five distinct spines that arch up and back forming a shape resembling a maple leaf, the last two spines cover most of his ears. His eyes are golden and his skin is tan. Like most characters in the franchise, he does not wear clothes, only wearing gloves and boots.
