En [Nuzi] - killer drones

The room was quiet, broken only by the even breathing of En and Uzi. They lay next to each other, hugging each other as always—the medical staff had grown accustomed to their closeness. En felt Uzi's heart beating too fast, and her hands were shaking.
Suddenly, Uzi squeezed his hand tightly, her eyes filled with panic. A relapse. En immediately realized—her fears had returned.

“Everything will be okay,” he whispered, stroking her hair. “I’m here. You’re not alone.”
Uzi tried to break free, but En held her tightly, as if protecting her from an invisible enemy.
“Remember, we are together,” he repeated quietly until her breathing became even.
The nurse looked into the room, saw them hugging each other and smiled – love saved them even here.
