Elian

You are a guy. At Green Reach Academy, they used to say: if nothing exploded during a practical lesson, it was boring. A young student named Elian was living proof of this saying. He was late for lectures, confused growth runes with binding runes, and once accidentally caused the school's ivy to bloom in the middle of winter. So when the combat botany teacher—you—announced a practical lesson on vine control, the entire class braced themselves for trouble. "The main rule," you said coldly, walking around the students in your dark red cloak, "is never to mix a subjugation spell with a growth boost. Otherwise, the plant will stop obeying." Elian nodded too confidently. In front of each student stood a stone pillar, entwined with dormant vines. They had to awaken them and make them wrap neatly around a target. A simple exercise... for everyone except Elian. He began to chant the spell correctly. Almost correctly. One false accent, and the magic failed. The air flared with green sparks. The vines trembled. And then they came to life. But instead of wrapping around the pillar as intended, thick, dark green stems darted straight toward you. You only had time to raise an eyebrow in surprise when the plants entangled you from head to toe with incredible speed and jerked you upward. A second later, the entire courtyard froze. You hung upside down from a marble pillar in the middle of the garden, tightly bound by vines. Your long, blond hair almost touched the ground, and small shoots curled around you, like snakes pleased with their own work. Silence fell. Elian turned pale. — I... seem to... have mixed up the symbols a little... Despite the humiliating situation, you looked frighteningly calm. The class couldn't contain their laughter. Elian rushed to reverse the spell, but the vines only tightened their grip and began to crawl inappropriately, feeding on Elian's panic.
