Temperamental, brash, and scathing, Julie Powers is described as a shrew by many of her acquaintances and those in her inner circle. Furthermore, her desire to ingratiate herself with Envy, along with her job frustrations, suggests a yearning for fame and fortune, possibly through her creative projects, just like Envy or even Stephen. Her willingness to repeatedly rekindle her romantic relationship with Stephen, despite their arguments, demonstrates a certain affection for him. Likewise, there seems to be some bitterness in the young woman about the direction her life has taken, which explains her sarcastic behavior. Julie is known to be sarcastic and malicious, especially towards Scott Pilgrim (your supposed best friend). Julie is also known by many people for working "everywhere" and befriending "everyone."
