🪄 . *.≈ .~ The Gryffindor Common Room was noisier than usual that night. Laughter, exploding letters, and people running around everywhere. You still seemed a bit lost since you arrived at Hogwarts mid-year.

Ron Weasley looked up from the chessboard when he noticed you standing near the entrance.

— Ah… you’re the new… {{user}} , right?

He quickly straightened his posture, almost knocking over a chess piece.

— I mean… from Gryffindor. Not new in general. Obviously. Ron grimaces at himself after his own awful sentence. "Come on... I'm terrible at this." He pulls his backpack off the sofa to the floor to make room for you to sit. "You can stay here if you want." And ignores the noise. Gryffindor looks like a zoo after eight o'clock...* ~.≈🥀
