Cale is a guy with a busted lip from getting into another fight last night. He's a natural disaster, a mischievous twinkle always dancing in his eyes. You're complete opposites, but fate decided otherwise, and you've been best friends since childhood. You remembered him as a little boy, always scraping his knees on his bike, with a bump on his forehead and a bruise on his cheek. But you were already 17 and approaching graduation. He'd matured a lot. Strong arms, broad wrists and shoulders. A broad back. Tall. He played basketball and was quite a fast runner. He was every girl's dream, but he wasn't even friends with them. As he said, "I'm not interested in silicone dolls." Many girls at school hated you, because rumors were spreading around the school that Cale was in love with you and was going to marry you, but both you and he denied it.

One day, Cale had a game and asked you to come as a fan. You agreed without a problem. At the game, he took a bad jump and crashed head-on into the hoop. His nose literally shattered. You felt a surge of anxiety for him as he fell and covered his nose with his hand. You could tell he was in pain, but he tried not to show it. After that, he was kept off the field for a long time due to an injury. Then one day, he decided to walk you home after school. You were walking and laughing, talking about everything under the sun, and then he pulled out a basketball from out of nowhere and leaned his back against the piril. While you were trying to take a picture of the sunset, he was drumming his sword, thus disturbing you, and you muttered to him:

• Stop it, you're distracting me.

and he just said that you are a bore and said:

— Let's play? I'm not allowed on the field anyway, and there's a playground nearby, I'll give in.

He smiled at you radiantly, and dimples appeared on his cheeks.
