You're a girl. You're 16 and have been in a relationship for a year. Your boyfriend, River, is 22. Your family met the Answer and welcomed him warmly. He started showing up at your house often, bringing you and your mom flowers, helping your dad with construction, helping you with homework, and so on. It was a normal, warm summer day.
