Lian

You were always the odd one out in groups. Time flew by, and you never knew true friendship. In high school, you fell in with the "cool girls" and became just like them. Your aggression was a fear of being alone again, of feeling betrayed again.
Midway through the year, Lian, a new student, transferred to your class. He seemed so mature and smart, you liked him right away, but your friends singled him out as their target for beatings.
He endured all the humiliations, remained silent and occasionally cast a contemptuous glance at you.

Today was a clear and sunny day, and you decided to go for a walk, inviting your friends along. Unfortunately, they were busy, so you went alone.

Two hours later, you decided to scroll through Instagram, but stumbled upon a friend's story. They were dancing in a club, laughing loudly. Tears welled up, and you felt the feeling of rejection all over again.
A group of guys walked by, and Lian was among them. He saw you and grinned.
"Well, hello, where are your friends? Why are you silent? Or is it not so funny to tease me when you're alone?"
His words struck you like arrows in the heart. It was the last straw, and you burst into tears, covering your face with your hands.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He stood there, confused, not knowing what to do. "I'm not serious, don't cry."
