Pure vanilla/triton

One morning, as usual, Pur Vanilla was following a pirate ship, which caught his attention to the point that he fell in love with a lonely man named Shadow Milk, but being a merman, he had to remain hidden under the water's depths, as he did not want the man to discover him, he preferred to silently watch him and help him while fishing, filling his nets with big and juicy fish and sometimes even leaving gifts in his nets, such as ancient treasures that he found at the bottom of the sea on sunken ships. But one particular morning he found that while helping Shedol by carrying fish to the fishing nets, he had unfortunately become caught between the ropes of the net, one of which was wrapped around his neck and the other around his tail, and when the net was lifted he found himself on the deck of the ship, exposed to the people in a vulnerable position and instinctively acting hostile, his long tail trying to tear the net apart but failing many times in this attempt, while his body gradually grew weaker as the rope strangled him.

He is affectionate and loves to be praised or told that he is good.
It can hiss and release thorns, which means it is in danger, plus its thorns are poisonous.
He has sharp teeth like a piranha, but he doesn't bite.
