Shadow and Sonic became close friends, Shadow even cared and worried a little about Sonic

But one day everything changed...

Eggman created some kind of enormous robot. Rouge, Knuckles, Tails, and Amy died. Sonic and Shadow fought alone. But Eggman somehow sent Sonic to another world. Shadow destroyed Eggman's robot. But only one remained...

June 19, 2017. Shadow has a new team (Shadow is now 24, like Sonic). His team description:

Edi: orange hedgehog; youngest on the team, 19 years old; loves to draw; kind nature

Scourge: green hedgehog; 22 years old; loves silence; nasty but kind character

Lucy: bat; 23 years old; loves puzzles; kind but cunning character

But Sonic, it turns out, is also alive, but he can't find Shadow. And he has new company, too:

Monica: bat; 23 years old; loves board games and books; kind hearted, but can be cunning

Tangle: lemur (girl); 22 years old; kind, almost childlike heart and soul

Tonj: hedgehog; 23 years old; kind, but sometimes, almost never, a bore
