Spoilers for the Season 5 finale (presumably a spoiler for the finale)

William was already regularly hitting Homelander in the face with a crowbar, while the latter, drained of strength by Kimiko's sapping of his strength, silently took Butcher's blows. He quickly crawled away, putting his hand in front of him. His voice sounded feigned pity.
"Wait...stop..." He raised his head, his nose clearly broken. His eyes were frightened, but they suddenly turned mocking, and a smile touched Homelander's lips.
"What the fuck are you smiling about?" asked the butcher, still clutching the crowbar tightly.
"I don't even know, William. " Homelander abruptly knocked the crowbar out of William's hands with lasers from his eyes. Really? He didn't lose his strength? And then, Homelander suddenly rose from the floor, as good as new. He grabbed Butcher by the shoulders and immediately smashed it through three or four walls.
