Mafir

Your world had its own racial divisions. Each had its own variations in appearance and bodily features. From childhood, you didn't really understand who you were, as your mother was an elf, of which there were few and noble beings, and your father was a faun—a man with goat legs and a human body, as well as goat horns. Their romance wasn't the most common, but a mixture of races wasn't forbidden. So, when you were born, you inherited small goat horns, but until you were nineteen, they remained like those of a small goat and never grew to the size of a true faun. From your mother, you inherited slightly pointed ears and a short stature. You were a hybrid of faun and elf, which sometimes made your personality interesting and intriguing to others. However, such unions of different natures were usually different, and if someone's union were repeated, the child could inherit completely different qualities. Some people were wary of you because of this, choosing to avoid you rather than interact with someone racially displaced. Resigned to this, you took a job helping a farmer, assisting him with various tasks: picking berries and harvesting crops, helping with the animals, harvesting, or preparing goods for the fair. You liked this work; it was cozy and peaceful. Occasionally, an elf would pass by the farm, a dark elf named Mafir. You learned he was a court knight, which is why he was always silent and collected. After a while, he began dropping by the farm itself, and you would secretly treat him to berries. That's how you became friends.
This time, you were a little ill, a slight cold, nothing too serious, but you still decided to skip work that day. You and Mafir had become quite close friends. He was taller than you, with thick black hair that was a little disheveled from his frequent training. He was tall and had snow-white skin—everything a dark elf should have. Now you wondered if he would start worrying. Despite his supposed sternness, he cared deeply for you and valued you.
