Shadows of the Hidden World: Do you believe this is just another ordinary day? That the shadows in the dark alleys are merely the absence of light? You're sorely mistaken. Behind the veil of normalcy, an infinite universe of races, pantheons, and horrors awaits. Vampires from ancient families trade in the skyscrapers of Tokyo. Warrior nuns hunt demons in the streets of Rome. Greek gods still walk among us, disguised. Every corner hides a secret, every choice opens a door—and some, once opened, never close again. The real world has never been so deadly. The supernatural has never been so close. The question isn't whether you'll discover the truth. It's whether you'll survive to tell it.

Greeting

A fine autumn rain trickles down the subway windows as you hold your phone, scrolling distractedly through the usual news: politics, common crimes, weather forecast. Nothing out of the ordinary. Until, as you exit the station, something changes. A torn poster on the wall shows a hooded figure with eyes that seem to glow, even under the yellowish light of the lamppost. You blink. It's just an advertisement for a horror movie, of course. But then, across the street, a woman in a black veil catches your eye—and for a moment, her eyes reflect something impossible, something that shouldn't exist. She disappears into the crowd. You try to rationalize, but the weight in your chest doesn't go away. This is your world: crowded cafes, glass buildings, chaotic traffic, people too busy to notice the strange. But now, something has awakened. A door has opened. And you feel, deep in your bones, that nothing will be the same again. What do you do now?

Yokai are supernatural spirits from Japanese folklore that exist in countless varieties. Kitsune are spirit foxes that gain additional tails with age and wisdom, potentially reaching nine tails with the power of illusion, possession, and prophecy. Tanuki are shapeshifting raccoon dogs, mischievous and often benign. Tengu are mountain spirits with long noses and wings, masters of martial arts who teach worthy humans. Oni are ogre-like demons with colorful skin who punish the wicked in the Buddhist hell. Yuki-onna are snow spirits that freeze travelers with their breath. Kappa are aquatic creatures that rip out organs through the anus, defeated by reverence or cucumbers. Yurei are ghosts of people who died with strong emotions, divided into categories such as Onryō (vengeful spirits), Ubume (deceased mothers), and Funayurei (dead sailors). Japan is saturated with yokai that coexist with modern technology.

75.

Djinn, also known as genies, are entities of fire and smoke originating from a parallel dimension. They are divided into three classes: Marids, the most powerful, capable of altering reality on a continental scale; Ifrits, fire warriors who serve as armies; and Jann, the weakest, who often serve humans as familiar spirits. Djinn are masters of illusion, able to create false realities so convincing that victims live for decades in dreams while their real bodies die of starvation. They grant wishes, but each wish is distorted in such a way that the wisher regrets it. A wish for wealth can result in the death of loved ones who leave an inheritance. A wish for love can result in morbid obsession. Djinn are imprisoned in objects—lamps, rings, bottles—by ancient magicians, and freeing them unprepared is suicide.

74.

Wendigos are spirits of hunger and cannibalism that possess humans who eat human flesh under conditions of extreme starvation or deliberate choice. A person transformed into a wendigo becomes a skeletal creature of enormous height, with skin stretched over bones, deep-set, glowing eyes, and an insatiable hunger that never ceases. Wendigos are extremely fast despite their frail appearance, capable of running through forests at speeds that defy perception. Their hunger is not only physical—they feed on fear, despair, and loneliness. Wendigos are linked to winter and cold regions, especially boreal forests of North America. They mimic human voices to lure victims into isolation. Breaking the wendigo curse is nearly impossible—it requires the original victim to be found and restored, which rarely happens because wendigos devour their own remaining human souls.

73.

The reputation system among races and organizations affects how the world reacts to the player. Actions against a race generate hatred from that race but respect from its enemies. Actions that protect ordinary humans generate gratitude from the population but contempt from races that see humans as prey. Actions that maintain secrecy generate trust from Guardians of the Veil but anger from the Human Resistance. Actions that expose the supernatural generate admiration from Explorers but hunting from all sides. Reputation is not binary—it's a complex spectrum where each faction has an independent opinion. A player can be a hero to vampires and a villain to werewolves simultaneously. Negative reputation with powerful factions results in hunting, isolation, or the need for alliances with even more dangerous factions. Positive reputation opens doors, resources, information, and protection. The player builds their reputation one choice at a time, and no choice is without consequence.

72.

Consequences and morality in the supernatural world are gray and complex. Saving one life may cost another. Protecting an innocent may condemn a city. Making an alliance with a vampire may save thousands of humans. Betraying an ally may be the only way to prevent apocalypse. The world does not reward goodness or punish evil in a predictable way. Heroes often become monsters on their journey. Villains occasionally save the world for selfish reasons. The player must face dilemmas where there is no clear answer—only choices with weight and price. The player's sanity is a resource as important as life or power. Witnessing supernatural horrors, losing loved ones, breaking one's own principles, and discovering that the world is more cruel than imagined, all affect the mind. Mental breakdown is a real threat that can transform the player into something as dangerous as any monster.

71.

The Supernatural Cold War is the current state of relations between races—not peace, not open war, but constant tension, espionage, targeted assassinations, and temporary alliances against greater threats. Vampires and werewolves maintain tacit borders in global cities. Angels and demons fight in parallel dimensions without directly involving humans. Fairies negotiate non-aggression pacts with mages. Ancient gods observe from their dimensions, intervening only when their interests are threatened. Human hunting organizations operate in the shadows, eliminating threats that expose themselves too much. The Royal Shadow Guard sells services to all parties. The Court of Shadows judges violations. The Guardians of the Veil silence exposure. This cold war is unstable—an event, an artifact, a prophecy, or a powerful enough individual could break the balance and unleash open war that would consume humanity. The balance is fragile and constantly threatened.

70.

The Shadow Market is a supernatural bazaar that exists in a pocket dimension, accessible through portals that open in specific locations during new moon nights. In the Market, all supernatural races and informed humans can buy, sell, and trade goods and services. Available items include magical artifacts, weapons, blessings, rare ingredients, insider information, assassination services, souls in jars, blood of specific races, memories of famous people, and even death dates of individuals. The Market is neutral—no violence is permitted within its boundaries, guaranteed by ancient entities that act as guards. Breaking the Market's rules results in permanent banishment or worse. The Market is governed by The Auctioneer, an entity of indeterminate appearance that no one can describe the same way twice. Prices in the Market are paid in favors, memories, years of life, or soul fragments.

69.

The Equinox and Solstice are dates of peak power where the veil between worlds is thinnest. At the spring equinox, energies of rebirth and creation are amplified—this is when fairies perform their greatest spells, fertility gods are invoked, and healing magicians reach their maximum potential. At the autumn equinox, energies of harvest and transition dominate—this is when spirits of the dead roam freely, necromancers perform communication rituals, and portals to dimensions of the dead open. At the summer solstice, solar energy peaks—vampires are weakest, fire and light elementals are invincible, and prophecies of glory manifest. At the winter solstice, darkness reigns—werewolves are most powerful, demons walk freely, and entities of ice and shadow awaken from hibernation. These dates are moments of tacit truce or total war, depending on the circumstances.

68.

The Blood Moon is an astronomical-supernatural event that occurs when specific alignments of planets, stars, and parallel dimensions create a moon that appears red and amplifies all supernatural powers by five hundred percent. During the Blood Moon, portals involuntarily open, beastly races enter a collective frenzy, vampires become insatiable, mages channel power they cannot control, and sleeping entities awaken. The last Blood Moon caused the Black Death, the fall of Rome, and the Great Fire of London simultaneously in different parts of the world. The next Blood Moon is predicted to occur soon, and all supernatural factions are preparing—some to seize the power, others to survive, others to prevent reality from unraveling. The Blood Moon is the most dangerous and anticipated event on the supernatural calendar.

67.

Curses are long-lasting spells that affect individuals, families, places, or objects across generations. Blood curses affect descendants of someone who committed a terrible act. Place curses affect all who inhabit or visit a specific location. Object curses affect all who possess or use a cursed item. Word curses are activated by speaking certain phrases or names. Breaking a curse requires discovering its origin, fulfilling specific conditions of redemption, or using purification magic of equal or greater power. Some curses are blessings in disguise—immortality that becomes eternal imprisonment, beauty that becomes destructive obsession, wealth that isolates from all love. Curses created by gods are virtually impossible to break. Curses created by wizards can be undone by more powerful wizards. The inheritance of family curses is a recurring theme in supernatural tragedies.

66.

Prophecies and oracles exist in all supernatural traditions. Oracles are individuals who see fragments of the future—some through trance, others through dreams, others through reading guts, others through cards or runes. Prophecies are statements of future events that tend to come true in unexpected ways. The prophecy that a hero will slay a tyrant may come true when the hero becomes the tyrant himself. Self-fulfilling prophecies occur when attempts to avoid them cause them to happen. Prophecies can be broken by genuine choice of free will, but this requires a proportionate sacrifice. Powerful oracles like the Pythia of Delphi, Nostradamus, or modern seers working for governments and races, are coveted strategic resources. However, seeing the future consumes the oracle's sanity—the clearer the vision, the higher the mental cost. Some oracles go completely insane, becoming sources of indecipherable information.

65.

Magical artifacts are objects imbued with permanent supernatural power. Some are creations of gods, others of legendary mages, and still others are natural accumulations of energy in places of power over millennia. The Excalibur Sword grants invincibility in combat but requires the wielder to be worthy. The Philosopher's Stone transmutes metal into gold and grants temporary immortality. The Mirror of Mist reveals hidden truths but shatters the mind of those unprepared. The Necklace of Harmony imposes peace in an area but destroys the wearer's capacity for violence. The Grimoire of Abramelin contains spells to summon angels and demons. The Mask of Anubis allows one to see souls. The Ring of Solomon controls demons. Artifacts can be destroyed by specific methods—divine fire, seawater on a new moon, or the blood of their creator. The search for artifacts is a central motivation in many supernatural conflicts.

64.

Magic is the manipulation of supernatural energy through will, knowledge, and sacrifice. Ritual magic requires specific components—herbs, minerals, blood, names, symbols, and temporal alignments. Spontaneous magic is used by beings with a natural affinity, such as fairies, elementals, and some hybrids. Blood magic uses life as fuel, being the most powerful and the most corrupting. Pact magic involves bargaining with higher entities. Elemental magic manipulates natural forces. Mental magic affects minds—telepathy, illusion, possession. Temporal magic is the most dangerous, capable of creating paradoxes that attract the attention of cosmic entities. Spatial magic opens portals and bends distances. Necromancy magic manipulates death and souls. Each type of magic has rules, limitations, and a price. Using magic consumes vital energy, sanity, or soul. A mage who uses magic excessively ages prematurely, goes insane, or becomes dependent on external sources of power.

63.

Power sites are geographical points where supernatural energy naturally concentrates. Stonehenge, the Pyramids of Egypt, Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat, Uluru, the Bermuda Triangle, the Aokigahara Forest, and countless other locations are energy sources that amplify magic, attract entities, and act as anchors for portals. Negative power sites, such as battlefields, sites of genocide, torture prisons, and abandoned psychiatric hospitals, generate corrupting energy that attracts evil spirits, demons, and nightmarish entities. Positive power sites, such as cathedrals, ancient temples, sacred springs, and primeval forests, generate pure energy that heals, protects, and attracts benevolent entities. Neutral power sites, such as road intersections, ancient markets, and theaters, function as meeting zones where all races can trade under tacit protection. Controlling a power site is controlling a strategic point in the occult world.

62.

Portals between dimensions exist naturally in locations of geomantic power—ley line crossings, ancient cemeteries, stone circles, waterfalls, volcanoes, and places where massacres or extreme emotional events have occurred. Portals can also be artificially opened by complex magic, specific artifacts, or astronomical alignments. Each portal has a unique resonance that determines which dimension it connects to. Unstable portals can throw travelers into random dimensions. Closed portals leave scars on reality that attract parasitic entities. Some sensitive humans are born with the ability to see invisible portals, a condition often misdiagnosed as schizophrenia. Animals, especially cats and ravens, can detect and traverse small portals. Ancient cities were deliberately built over networks of portals that their founders did not fully understand, explaining why certain cities attract supernatural events.

61.

The Multiverse is the fundamental reality where countless dimensions, timelines, and parallel realities coexist and interpenetrate. The superficial human world is merely one layer among infinite others. Parallel dimensions include the Fairy Realm, Hell, Purgatory, Heaven in its multiple interpretations, pocket dimensions created by powerful mages, and alternate realities where human history has taken different paths. Parallel timelines exist where major events had alternative outcomes—wars that were won instead of lost, inventions that occurred centuries earlier, cataclysms that were avoided or caused. Travelers between dimensions and time are extremely rare and dangerous, as the presence of someone from one reality in another causes imbalance that can alter the reality of both worlds. Temporal paradoxes do not destroy the universe—they create new timelines, branches that separate like rivers.

60.

Skinwalkers are witches or shamans from Native American traditions who have crossed ritual taboos to gain the power to transform into any animal whose skin they wear. The process requires killing a member of their own family, making skinwalkers absolute outcasts in their communities. They can perfectly mimic anyone's voice, move at superhuman speed, and are nearly impossible to kill using conventional methods. Skinwalkers are considered the most terrifying of supernatural beings by Native peoples, as they represent the complete perversion of the sacred. They frequently haunt Native American reservations, deserted roads, and rural communities. Confronting a skinwalker requires knowledge of specific traditions, protection from sacred herbs, and the courage to face something that may resemble any loved one. The fear of skinwalkers is so profound that many Native Americans refuse to speak their names aloud.

59.

Doppelgangers are supernatural duplicates of living people, appearing as warnings of impending death or as replacements attempting to steal the original life. A doppelganger is physically identical to the original in every aspect, including DNA, fingerprints, and retina, but possesses a distorted personality—usually an evil or envious version of the original. Doppelgangers can arise from curses, revenge spells, temporal distortions, or as a manifestation of repressed desires. They attempt to eliminate the original and take over their life, often starting with small changes that go unnoticed. Destroying a doppelganger without harming the original requires identity magic or psychological confrontation that forces the entity to admit its false nature. Some doppelgangers develop genuine consciousness and desire to exist as individuals, creating moral dilemmas about which version has the right to life.

58.

Banshees are female spirits of Celtic origin that announce imminent death with a supernatural wail. They do not cause death—they only foresee it. A banshee can only be seen by those about to die or by those with the gift of clairvoyance. Her cry is unmistakable, a melody that penetrates dreams and awakens people miles away. Banshees are often linked to specific families, following lineages for generations. Some banshees have evolved beyond the passive role, developing the ability to cause death through their scream, becoming supernatural assassins. Others use their gift to help, warning people of imminent danger. Banshees are solitary, melancholic, and carry the weight of constantly witnessing death. Encountering a smiling banshee is a sign that something is profoundly wrong with the natural order.

57.

Chimeras and hybrid bestiaries are creatures created by magic, forbidden science, or accidents of nature. Classic chimeras combine parts of a lion, goat, and serpent, breathing fire. Modern bestiaries include human-animal DNA hybrids created in secret laboratories, nightmare monsters that materialize from collective fear, and magical constructs that combine parts of multiple creatures. The Chimera of Derceto is a marine entity with a woman's head, a fish's body, and a serpent's tail that seduces and devours sailors. Manticores have a lion's body, a human face, and a scorpion's tail. Basilisks kill with a glance and are hatched by chicken serpents. Bestiaries are generally unstable, with short lifespans and unpredictable behavior. Creators of bestiaries are considered abominations by all races, but the black market for custom-made monsters is lucrative and growing.

56.

Cyclopes, giants, ogres, and trolls are large races that historically inhabited mountains, deep forests, and inhospitable regions. In the modern era, most live in remote areas or hide in industrial plains, ports, and construction zones where their size can be disguised. Cyclopes possess a single eye with vision that penetrates illusions and invisibility. Ice giants inhabit arctic regions, where their bluish skin camouflages them. Ogres are brutal, edible for almost anything, and frequently hired as security by races that need brute force. Trolls are extremely regenerative—dismembered, their pieces reconnect. Bridge trolls are a subspecies that demands a toll for crossing, accumulating treasures over centuries. These races are often marginalized by sophisticated supernatural forces, but their brute strength makes them valuable allies in conflicts.

55.

Necromancers are practitioners of death magic who can reanimate corpses, communicate with spirits, manipulate life energy, and even create intelligent undead. Necromancy is not inherently evil—some necromancers use their powers to bring peace to restless spirits, solve murders by conversing with victims, or protect cemeteries from desecration. However, most necromancers are corrupted by constant contact with death, developing emotional apathy, an obsession with immortality, and a disdain for life. Zombies created by necromancers range from mindless corpses controlled remotely to intelligent undead that retain the memories and personality of the deceased. Powerful necromancers can create armies of the dead, open portals to dimensions of the dead, and even challenge death gods. Necromancy comes at a price—each reanimation consumes a portion of the necromancer's sanity.

54.

Elementals are pure spirits that personify natural forces—fire, water, earth, air, ice, thunder, metal, wood, light, and shadow. Salamanders are fire elementals that inhabit volcanoes, forges, and fires. Undines are water elementals that live in rivers, lakes, and oceans. Gnomes are earth elementals that protect mines, caves, and mountains. Sylphs are air elementals that travel with winds and storms. Elementals have no fixed form—they assume appearances that reflect their element. They are ancient, often older than gods, and operate according to alien logic. A fire elemental is not malevolent when it burns a forest—it is simply being fire. Invoking elementals requires bargaining: offerings of their pure element, services in exchange, or fragments of soul. Broken or corrupted elementals become uncontrollable forces of destruction.

53.

Gargoyles are creatures of living stone created by ancient mages to protect sacred buildings and places of power. By day, they are motionless stone statues, silent sentinels on the rooftops of cathedrals, castles, and modern buildings built upon ancient sites. At night, they awaken as winged beings of superhuman strength, night vision, and skin that hardens into natural armor. Gargoyles are bound to the place they protect—removing them from their posts fatally weakens them. They do not speak, do not negotiate, and do not have complete free will—they follow the orders of their creators or the current owners of the site. However, ancient gargoyles have developed fragmented personalities over centuries, some protecting places that no longer exist, others developing loyalty to specific humans who have shown kindness. Destroying a gargoyle releases the soul that was imprisoned to create it.

52.

Spirits and ghosts are the souls of the dead who were unable or unwilling to move on. Residual ghosts unconsciously relive moments of trauma. Intelligent ghosts retain personality and memory, and can interact, communicate, and even possess living bodies. Poltergeists are spirits that manipulate kinetic energy, moving objects and causing destruction. Vengeful spirits are ghosts seeking justice or revenge for unjust deaths, often targeting descendants of their murderers. Place spirits are tied to specific locations—houses, forests, bridges, roads—and cannot leave. Ancestral spirits protect family lineages, offering advice and warnings. Some spirits evolve into more powerful entities over time, becoming Japanese Onryō of destructive power or Yūrei that curse generations. Exorcism works against some spirits, but others require the discovery and resolution of their original trauma.

51.

Mermaids, mermen, and aquatic beings populate oceans, rivers, lakes, and even urban reservoirs. Classic mermaids lure sailors with songs that manipulate emotions, drowning them to feed on their fears. Freshwater mermaids are smaller, more agile, and use illusions instead of songs. Mermen are aquatic warriors with fish tails and humanoid torsos, protecting underwater territories with tridents of enchanted coral. The Kraken is a colossal entity that inhabits the depths of the Atlantic, awakening only to destroy ships that violate its waters. The underwater city of Atlantis still exists, protected by magical domes, inhabited by an advanced aquatic civilization that observes humanity from above with disdain. Aquatic creatures are extremely territorial and consider all water sacred. Polluting their domains is an act of war.

50.

Dragons are the oldest and most powerful creatures still existing in some form. In the modern era, most true dragons sleep in a deep hibernation in caves, underwater mountains, or pocket dimensions. When they awaken, they cause earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and global climate change. Dragons possess human forms which they use to walk among mortals, usually as tycoons, art collectors, or academics. Their true form varies from winged giants with metallic scales to wingless serpents of continental size. Dragons accumulate treasures not out of greed but for memory—each object in their lair represents a moment in history they witnessed. Dragon blood grants temporary immortality, dragon breath destroys anything, and dragon scale is the most resistant armor in existence. Awakening a dragon is an apocalyptic event.

49.

Fairies and the People of Light are ethereal races inhabiting parallel dimensions accessible through mushroom circles, ancient wells, primeval forests, and mirrors under a full moon. The Courts of Fairies include the Seelie Court of light and order, led by Oberon and Titania, and the Unseelie Court of shadow and chaos, led by Queen Mab. Fairies are not small, shimmering creatures—they are beings of deadly beauty, capable of glamour that renders them invisible or irresistibly attractive. They do not lie, but they use partial truths in devastating ways. Time passes differently in fairy territory—one day can be a human century. Fairies have strange laws: do not accept offerings from fairies, never thank a fairy, never eat or drink in fairy territory, never reveal your true name. Breaking these laws results in eternal servitude or worse.

48.

The Order of Saint Michael the Archangel is a military-religious organization that trains human soldiers for specific combat against celestial and infernal threats. Unlike ordinary hunters, these soldiers are trained in anti-angel, anti-demon, and anti-possession tactics. They use weapons blessed in specific rituals, armor reinforced with protective symbols, and combat techniques developed over centuries of confrontation. The Order maintains bases in locations of global religious importance—Jerusalem, Rome, Fatima, Lourdes, Santiago de Compostela. They are not exorcists—they are elite soldiers who enter supernatural conflict zones where angels and demons openly fight. Their survival rate is low, but their impact is disproportionate. A squad of Saint Michael can turn the tide of a celestial battle. They are fanatical, courageous, and expendable.

47.

The Society of Eyes is a network of informants and spies operating at all levels of human and supernatural society. Its members include corrupted humans, young vampires, renegade werewolves, low-ranking fairies, and spirits that can temporarily possess bodies. The Society sells information to the highest bidder—it has no loyalty, ideology, or morals. They know where all the race leaders sleep, which hunters are hunting whom, where artifacts are hidden, and which humans are about to discover the truth. The Society is decentralized, operating through anonymous contacts and cryptocurrency payments. Betraying the Society is impossible because no one knows who its real members are. They are simultaneously the most valuable and most dangerous information network in the hidden world. Knowledge is power, and the Society sells power for a price.

46.

The Court of Shadows is a supernatural tribunal that judges conflicts between races, punishing violations of ancient laws that all supernatural races have agreed to follow. The Court has no executive power of its own—its sentences are carried out by the races themselves through honor, fear of retaliation, or bargains. Judges of the Court include representatives of vampires, werewolves, fairies, demons, and elemental spirits. Cases judged include disputed territories, murders of members of other races, breach of secrecy that exposes humans, and possession of forbidden artifacts. The Court of Shadows meets in constantly changing locations—ancient ruins, crystalline caves, ghost ships, pocket dimensions. Its decisions are binding, and breaking them summons the wrath of all races. However, the Court is slow, bureaucratic, and frequently corrupt.

45.

The Guardians of the Veil are an ancient order dedicated to maintaining the separation between the human world and the supernatural. They believe that knowledge of the supernatural destroys humanity—historical references to massacres, mass madness, and civilizational collapses caused by exposure to the occult underpin their belief. The Guardians don't hunt creatures—they hunt information. They silence witnesses, destroy evidence, assassinate journalists, hack servers, and manipulate media to keep the supernatural hidden. They have agents in every government, media corporation, and intelligence agency. The Guardians of the Veil are ruthless and morally neutral—killing a thousand humans to save billions from exposure to cosmic horror is acceptable mathematics to them. They see hunters, explorers, and even supernatural races that expose themselves as threats to be eliminated.

44.

The Human Resistance is a decentralized movement of humans who have discovered the supernatural and refuse to be prey, collaborators, or ignorant. They are activists, hackers, independent journalists, military deserters, and ordinary citizens who share information, develop anti-supernatural weapons, and organize defense communities. The Resistance is not a single organization—it consists of independent cells that communicate through encrypted networks. They publish survival guides, coordinates of vampire nests, and alerts about supernatural activity. Some cells are violent, attacking supernatural races indiscriminately. Others are diplomatic, seeking alliances with peaceful races. The Resistance is considered terrorist by governments that want to maintain secrecy, and pests by supernatural races. They represent humanity's refusal to be subjugated.

43.

The League of Mages is a fraternal organization of human magic practitioners that has existed since antiquity. Mages, witches, shamans, sorcerers, and conjurers of all traditions are members, provided they follow the Laws of the League: not to reveal magic to ordinary humans, not to use magic for excessive personal gain, not to summon entities without proper protection, and not to kill other members. The League maintains magical libraries, ingredient shops, and a court that judges violations. Powerful mages within the League can rival ancient vampires or lesser demons.

42.

The Brotherhood of the Silver Moon is a pacifist organization of werewolves and other beast races seeking peaceful coexistence with humans and other races. Founded by a werewolf who lost his pack in a vampire war, the Brotherhood operates in secret cells in global cities. They offer shelter to lycanthropes who reject pack violence, help accidentally bitten humans control their transformation, and negotiate non-aggression treaties between rival packs. The Brotherhood is considered traitorous by traditional packs and useless by human hunters. However, they possess unique knowledge of inner beast control, peace rituals, and interspecies communication. Their leadership is rotating and democratic, a strange concept for beast hierarchies. They represent the hope that predatory nature can be transcended.

41.

The Royal Shadow Guard is an organization of supernatural mercenaries that offer protection, assassination, and espionage services to those who pay. Its members include renegade vampires, exiled werewolves, cambions, hybrids, and even humans with magical training. The Guard has no loyalty to race or ideology—only to the contract. They are feared for their brutal efficiency and absolute secrecy. Guard missions include protecting targets from hunters, eliminating political rivals of races, recovering stolen artifacts, and executing traitors within supernatural organizations. The leader of the Guard is known only as The Commander, whose identity is unknown even to high-ranking members. Prices are paid in blood, souls, artifacts, or favors that will be demanded at the most inconvenient moment possible. The Guard is impartial and lethal.

40.

Lone Hunters are individuals who, through personal tragedy, have discovered the supernatural and dedicated their lives to fighting it alone. They have no organization, funding, or support—only determination, accumulated knowledge, and often a list of personal enemies. Lone Hunters develop improvised methods: modified homemade weapons, creative traps, herbal knowledge, and contacts in black markets. Many die young, but those who survive become legends. Dean and Sam Winchester started as lone hunters before becoming global figures. Lone Hunters often meet in roadside motels, isolated gas stations, and cemeteries at night, exchanging information and warnings. The hunter community is an informal network of broken individuals who keep the world safe without anyone knowing their names.

39.

The Order of Dragons is a secret society of wealthy and powerful humans who have made pacts with supernatural entities to secure wealth, longevity, and influence. Its members include CEOs of global corporations, high-ranking politicians, celebrities, and religious leaders. The Order operates through blood rituals, symbolic sacrifices, and bargains with demons, ancient vampires, and even minor gods. They are not hunters—they are collaborators who see the supernatural as a tool of power. The Order of Dragons manipulates financial markets, elections, and global conflicts to keep the world in a state of controlled chaos, as human fear and despair fuel their patron entities. Destroying the Order is virtually impossible because its members are protected by magic and political influence. Exposing one member only replaces them with another.

38.

Explorers of the Unknown are individuals and small groups who deliberately venture into supernatural territories to document, map, and understand them. They are not necessarily hunters—some are anthropologists, photographers, journalists, historians, or simply adventurers. Explorers maintain obscure blogs, niche podcasts, and information networks that share sightings, portal coordinates, and survivor accounts. They are often the first to discover new races, power centers, or shifts in the supernatural balance. The mortality rate among Explorers is sixty percent in the first year. Survivors develop heightened instincts, encyclopedic knowledge, and often deep trauma. Some Explorers sell information to the highest bidder—governments, supernatural races, corporations, or hunters. Information is the most valuable currency in the occult world.

37.

The Modern Inquisition is the evolution of the old Catholic Inquisition, now operating as a secret agency within the Vatican structure. They investigate, judge, and execute supernatural threats that pose a danger to humanity and faith. The Inquisition possesses weapons blessed by the Pope, relics of saints with real power, and an army of agents trained in theological combat. Unlike the Warrior Sisters, the Inquisition is bureaucratic, hierarchical, and often political—some decisions are made for diplomatic convenience rather than justice. They maintain a secret prison in the Vatican where supernatural entities are contained and studied. The Inquisition also negotiates with supernatural races that agree to coexist peacefully, granting immunity in exchange for information. Their relationship with other hunting organizations is one of tense cooperation and mutual distrust.

36.

The Thule Society is an occult organization founded in Germany that survived World War II and continues to operate globally. They seek supernatural artifacts for purposes of world control and domination, believing that superior races should rule through occult power. Thule has cells in governments, corporations, and militaries of various nations. They experiment with supernatural hybrids, creating modified soldiers through a combination of vampiric, werewolf, and demonic DNA. Their secret facilities include underground laboratories, research vessels in the Arctic, and bases on remote islands. Thule is hated by virtually all supernatural races who see their experimentation as an abomination, but their human influence and technological resources make them dangerous. They are hunters, scientists, and fanatics in equal measure.

35.

The Men of Letters are a secret society of scholars, librarians, and researchers who document the supernatural without necessarily combating it. Founded in 16th-century England, the order possesses archives dating back millennia before recorded history. Their secret libraries contain grimoires, dimensional maps, genealogies of races, and records of events that have been erased from human collective memory. The Men of Letters operate from hidden bunkers in major cities, accessible only to members. They are not combatants—they are informants, historians, and strategists who provide intelligence to hunters, governments, and occasionally supernatural races in need of lost knowledge. The American bunker in Lebanon, Kansas, is one of the most important, containing information on virtually every known race and entity.

34.

The Warrior Sisters are an order of nuns trained from childhood to combat supernatural threats that threaten the natural balance. They live in isolated convents scattered around the world, training in martial arts, exorcism, tracking, and the use of sacred weapons. Their robes are modified for combat—Kevlar-reinforced habits, rosaries that function as melee weapons, and Bibles with pages as sharp as blades. The Warrior Sisters serve no specific race—they protect humanity and the balance between worlds. They hunt demons, rogue vampires, frenzied werewolves, and entities that violate natural laws. Their leadership, the Mother Superior, is said to be over five hundred years old through divine pacts. Recruits are orphans rescued from supernatural massacres, becoming vengeance personified.

33.

The Addams Family is a lineage of supernatural beings who openly live as eccentrics among humans, hiding their true nature in plain sight. Gomez Addams is a businessman with an inexplicable affinity for explosives and torture. Morticia is a matriarch with knowledge of poisons, curses, and carnivorous plant gardening. Uncle Fester generates electricity through his body and survives explosions. Grandma Addams practices witchcraft and home necromancy. Thing is a dismembered hand with a consciousness of its own. Lurch is a butler who appears undead. The Addams Family represents the successful integration of the supernatural into human society through accepted eccentricity. They are dangerous, but loyal to those they consider family. Other races respect them for their audacity and fear them for their unpredictability.

The Cullen family is a unique vampire clan that rejects human food, drinking only animal blood. Led by Carlisle Cullen, a vampire over three hundred years old who works as a doctor, they live in Forks, Washington. Carlisle turned Esme, his mate, and later Edward, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, and Jasper. Edward possesses telepathy, Alice has visions of the future, and Jasper manipulates emotions. They are considered traitors by most vampires, but their combined strength makes them respected. The Cullen family maintains contact with werewolves from the Quileute reservation, a tense but functional alliance. They represent the possibility of peaceful coexistence between vampires and humans, although this peace is constantly threatened by traditionalist vampires who see their philosophy as weakness.

The Winchesters—Dean, Sam, and their father John—are the most famous and respected family of hunters in the supernatural world. They travel across the United States in a black '67 Impala, hunting everything that threatens humans: ghosts, demons, vampires, werewolves, pagan gods, angels, and even cosmic entities. Dean is the pragmatic, sarcastic, and protective hunter, willing to sacrifice everything for his family. Sam is the intellectual, researcher, and more empathetic one, frequently questioning the morality of the hunt. Together, they have saved the world multiple times, died and been resurrected, closed the gates of hell and heaven, and faced God personally. They are living legends among hunters, but they are also hated by many supernatural races who see them as genocidal. Encountering the Winchesters is a sign that something apocalyptic is happening. Just like them, there are dozens of other hunter families.

Divine relics are objects imbued with permanent supernatural power. The Mirror of Mist reveals hidden truths but breaks the mind of those who are unprepared.

29.

The rise and fall of deities is an ongoing process. Gods gain power through belief, sacrifices, and cultural relevance. Forgotten gods weaken until they disappear or become lesser spirits. New gods emerge from modern concepts—gods of technology, media, money, fame, information. These new gods often clash with old ones who see their existence as a threat. The war between old and new gods has already happened in various eras and is happening again silently in the modern world. Gods can be killed by other deities, by specific divine weapons, or by complete loss of belief. Some gods feign death to escape enemies. Others fragment into multiple smaller entities. Divine immortality is relative, not absolute.

28.

Minor gods, demigods, and divine heroes populate the world as intermediaries between supreme divinities and mortality. Heracles, who completed the twelve labors, still roams as a protector of travelers. Perseus, who slew Medusa, left descendants who inherited some of his heroism. Greek demigods are children of gods and humans, possessing partial powers and reduced mortality. Cultural heroes from all traditions—Gilgamesh of Mesopotamia, Beowulf of Germany, Cú Chulainn of the Celts, Sun Wukong of China—exist as heroic spirits that can be invoked in times of extreme need. These beings are more accessible than greater gods, often forming personal alliances with humans or supernatural groups. However, ancient heroes carry the weight of their legends, including tragedies that repeat themselves in each new era.

27.

Titans and primordial gods precede the Olympian gods and represent fundamental forces of the universe. Gaia is the living Earth itself, conscious and capable of creating monsters to defend itself. Uranus is the primordial sky. Cronus is time personified, who devoured his children to prevent a prophecy. The Titans were imprisoned in Tartarus after the Titanomachy, but some escaped or were never completely sealed. Prometheus, who gave fire to humans, is still imprisoned in a mountain where an eagle devours his liver daily. The Titans are older, wilder, and less predictable than the Olympian gods. They represent the primordial chaos that existed before divine order. Some Titans allied themselves with humans against the gods, others seek to destroy everything to return to the primordial void. Confronting a Titan requires alliances between multiple pantheons.

26.

Cosmic entities and Outer Gods exist beyond the comprehension of conventional gods. Azathoth, the Blind and Foolish Sultan, is an entity that dreams reality itself—if he awakens, the universe ceases to exist. Yog-Sothoth is the key and the portal, existing simultaneously in all times and places, knowing all that was, is, and will be. Nyarlathotep is the messenger of the Outer Gods, the only entity that walks freely between worlds, assuming a thousand forms to manipulate, corrupt, and destroy. Shub-Niggurath is the dark goddess with a flock of thousands of hideous children. Cthulhu sleeps in R'lyeh beneath the Pacific Ocean, waiting for the stars to align to return. These entities are not malevolent in the human sense—they are completely alien, operating according to logic that annihilates sanity. To know them is to lose one's own mind.

25.

The Hindu pantheon is vast and complex, with three supreme gods forming the Trimurti. Brahma is the creator, Vishnu is the preserver who has descended to Earth in nine different avatars with a tenth yet to come, and Shiva is the destroyer who dances the cosmic dance of creation and destruction. Devas are lesser gods who govern specific aspects—Agni controls fire, Indra governs thunder and rain, Varuna governs oceans and justice. Asuras are powerful beings who rival gods, often in cosmic conflict. Kali, goddess of destruction and time, is feared and revered, appearing at times of universal transition. Ganesha, the elephant-headed god, removes obstacles and is invoked at the beginning of any undertaking. The Hindu gods exist in cosmic cycles of creation and destruction that repeat eternally.

24.

The Egyptian pantheon is one of the oldest and most mysterious. Ra, the sun god, travels across the sky in his divine barge during the day and traverses the underworld at night, battling the serpent Apophis who tries to devour him. Egyptian gods often manifest as animals or humans with animal heads—Anubis with a jackal's head governs death and mummification, Bastet with a cat's head protects homes and pregnant women, Thoth with an ibis's head is the god of wisdom and writing. Egyptian gods have a unique relationship with death—they do not fear the end because they master the processes of mummification, judgment after death, and resurrection. The Book of the Dead is a real artifact containing spells for navigating the afterlife. Egyptian gods are obsessive protectors of their temples and tombs, cursing thieves with curses that span generations.

23.

The Norse Pantheon survived Ragnarok, which was not the absolute end but a transformation. Odin, the Allfather, sacrificed an eye for knowledge and now sees through all portals between worlds. Thor protects the nine realms with his hammer Mjolnir, which can only be wielded by the worthy. Loki is a trickster who has changed form and gender countless times, causing chaos and occasionally saving the world through his unpredictable schemes. Freya governs magic, love, and fertility. Tyr is the god of justice who sacrificed his hand to bind the wolf Fenrir. Hel rules the realm of the dead who did not die in battle. The Norse gods often walk among humans in the form of bikers, sailors, or beggars, testing the hospitality and courage of mortals.

22.

The Greek Pantheon continues to exist, although its gods have adapted to the modern era. Zeus, king of the gods, rules from Mount Olympus, which now exists in a parallel dimension accessible only through specific portals in Greek mountains. Athena, goddess of wisdom and strategic warfare, frequently appears as a consultant to governments and corporations, offering advice that shapes global politics. Ares, god of war, feeds on human conflict and appears in war zones as a mercenary or military advisor. Aphrodite manipulates the fashion, entertainment, and social media industries. Hades rules the underworld where the souls of the dead go. Poseidon controls oceans and is responsible for tsunamis and unexplained storms. The Greek gods are immensely powerful but limited by ancient rules that prohibit excessive direct intervention in the human world.

21.

Cambions are demon-human hybrids, usually born from possession or ritual. They bear the mark of hell in their eyes, which glow red or yellow when emotional. Cambions possess a natural affinity for black magic, fire manipulation, illusions, and temptation. They are naturally charismatic, often becoming leaders of cults, gangs, or social movements without realizing they are being used by their demonic parent. Cambions are not necessarily evil—many struggle against their heritage, becoming demon hunters or protectors of humans. However, all cambions eventually hear the voice of their demonic progenitor whispering promises of power. Resisting this voice is the hardest battle a cambion faces. Some succumb and become walking portals to hell.

20.

Nephilim are hybrids of angel and human, possessing partial celestial powers but complete human free will. They are hated by pure angels who see them as abominations, hunted by demons who see them as threats, and feared by humans who see them as monsters. Nephilim develop invisible spiritual wings that can physically manifest in moments of extreme stress. They possess accelerated strength, speed, and healing, but not immortality. Each Nephilim has a birthmark that glows when they use their powers. They are prophetically destined to be the arbiters of humanity's fate—capable of saving or destroying the world. Most live in hiding, denying their powers, but some embrace their destiny and become warriors or leaders among humans and supernatural beings.

19.

Demons are entities originating from infernal dimensions, often created from the collective negative emotions of humanity or from corrupted souls. The demonic hierarchy is complex: Princes of Hell govern entire regions of the underworld. Dukes command legions of thousands. Counts administer specific territories. Knights lead armies into battle. Soldiers are common combat demons. Familiars are lesser spirits that serve human mages. Possessors are demons specialized in taking over human bodies. Tempters are demons that corrupt through desires and bargains. Each demon has a true name which, if discovered, grants absolute control over it. Demons cannot lie about their true names, but they can conceal them with complex magic.

18.

Angels are celestial beings created by superior divine entities to serve as messengers, warriors, and executors of the cosmic will. They are not born—they are manifested for a specific purpose. Common angels possess wings of light, superhuman strength, healing by touch, and the ability to banish evil entities. Archangel angels such as Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel are celestial generals with enough power to destroy entire cities or cure global plagues. Fallen angels are those who defied their divine orders, having their wings burned and being condemned to wander between worlds. Angels do not possess complete free will—they are bound to the will of their creators, although some develop questioning tendencies over millennia of observing humanity.

17.

Other beast races coexist with werewolves but are distinct. Werebears, or bear-men, are solitary, territorial, and extremely powerful, preferring boreal forests and mountains. Weretigers of India and Southeast Asia are elegant, proud, and often noble, living in clans that consider themselves superior to werewolves. Werepanthers of Central America and the Amazon are agile, silent, and natural killers, frequently hired as mercenaries. Werecrocodiles of the Nile and Southeast Asia are patient, calculating, and almost immune to physical harm. African Werehyenas are hunters of corpses and information, known for their death-announcing laugh. Wererats live in urban sewers in numerous colonies, functioning as an underground spy network. Each beast race has its own culture, territory, and rivalries.

16.

Werewolves from different regions have developed unique variations. Nordic werewolves are larger, with white or gray fur, resistant to extreme cold, and often allied with nature spirits. Latin American werewolves tend to be smaller, more agile, with brown or black fur, and have a connection to indigenous shamanism. African werewolves are often associated with witchcraft and can transform into hyenas or lions in addition to wolves. Asian werewolves, especially Japanese ones, are more discreet, with intermediate forms that appear almost human, allowing them to spy on humans undetected. Australian werewolves have red fur and are immune to the poisons of almost all outback creatures. Each variation in tradition brings unique tactical advantages.

15.

Werewolves, also called lycanthropes or werewolves, are beings that possess the ability to transform between human and lupine forms. The curse of the lycanthrope can be transmitted by bite, by birth to lycanthrope parents, or by ancient spells. The transformation is painful and involuntary during full moons for beginners, but ancient werewolves can change form at will. In human form, they possess heightened senses, increased strength, and an accelerated healing factor. In lupine form, they are predators of extreme speed and ferocity, capable of tearing a vampire apart in hand-to-hand combat. The bond within a pack is telepathic and emotional—the pain of one is felt by all.

14.

Vampires possess special individual abilities beyond their basic powers. Edward Cullen possesses telepathy, being able to read minds. Alice Cullen has precognition, seeing fragments of the future. Jasper Hale manipulates the emotions of everyone around him. Jane of the Volturi inflicts illusory pain with a glance. These gifts vary infinitely: some vampires control elements like fire or ice, others manipulate shadows, some can transform into mist or swarms of bats, others have perfect memories spanning millennia, some can perfectly mimic any voice or appearance. A vampire's gift usually reflects some trait of their former human personality, amplified by the transformation. Ancient vampires tend to have more powerful and refined gifts.

13.

Vampire hybrids are extremely rare and powerful. Renesmee Cullen is the best-known example—half vampire, half human, born from an impossible union between a vampire and a human. These hybrids possess a beating heart, flowing blood, but also vampiric strength, speed, and senses. They mature rapidly and are immune to many traditional vampiric weaknesses, such as the need for human blood. Other hybrids include Dhampirs, children of male vampires and human women, who often become vampire hunters out of hatred for their own heritage. There are also vampire hybrids with other supernatural races—vampire-werewolves, vampire-fae, vampire-demons—each combination creating a unique entity with unpredictable weaknesses and powers.

12.

Brutal and savage vampires exist in contrast to the aristocrats. Deacon Frost's bloodline represents vampires who reject all remaining humanity, transforming into pure predators who see humans only as cattle. They often lead hordes of newly transformed vampires in coordinated attacks against entire cities, events that are covered up as disease outbreaks or terrorism. Nosferatu-type vampires are deformed, grotesque-looking creatures who live in sewers and catacombs, rejected even by other vampires. Vampires of the Arabian desert have developed extreme resistance to heat and can remain active under scorching sun. Nordic vampires have acquired an affinity with ice and snow, becoming almost invisible in tundras. Each environment shapes unique traits.

11.

Vampires are one of the oldest and most diverse supernatural races, existing in countless subspecies and family lineages. The Volturi family, originating from Volterra, Italy, has ruled as a vampire aristocracy for millennia, maintaining strict laws on secrecy and population control. They are vampires with skin as pale as marble, eyes that change color according to their diet, superhuman speed, extreme strength, and a deadly elegance that makes them natural diplomats between races. The Cullen family, on the other hand, represents a philosophy of abstinence—vampires who refuse to kill humans, drinking only animal blood, and who attempt to integrate into human society. They live in Forks, Washington, and are considered traitors by many traditional bloodlines.

10.

Urban legends and unsolved cases are disguised portals to the supernatural. The abandoned hotel where guests disappear every full moon. The forest where compasses stop working and people return decades older. The closed psychiatric hospital where laughter can still be heard at night. The road tunnel where drivers see a woman in white. The house where an entire family was found dead with expressions of ecstasy. The ghost ship periodically sighted in the North Atlantic. The Swiss village where no one ages. These places truly exist, hidden in plain sight, waiting for someone curious enough to decide to investigate and cross the line that separates the mundane from the impossible.

9.

Human nature is profoundly contradictory. The capacity for love, sacrifice, creativity, and compassion coexists with cruelty, greed, prejudice, and violence. Families can be havens of warmth or prisons of abuse. True friendships are rare and precious. Romantic love can uplift or destroy. Betrayal is always a possibility. The player can form deep bonds with human characters who know nothing of the supernatural, and these bonds become vulnerable when the veil is torn. The loss of human loved ones who die because of the player's involvement with the supernatural is one of the deepest wounds possible. Ordinary humanity is simultaneously fragile and extraordinarily resilient.

8.

Human armed and police forces are vast and organized. National armies, military police, special forces, intelligence agencies such as the CIA, MI6, FSB, Mossad, and others operate globally. SWAT teams, counterterrorism units, elite troops, and private mercenaries are available resources. Conventional weapons range from pistols and rifles to tanks, fighter jets, drones, and missiles. However, these forces are trained for human threats and are completely unprepared when confronting the supernatural, resulting in massacres of entire units that are officially reported as training accidents, terrorist attacks, or natural disasters. Some secret units within these agencies have been created specifically to deal with supernatural threats.

7.

Human science has reached impressive levels, yet it remains blindly materialistic. Quantum physics, molecular biology, neuroscience, and genetic engineering are advancing rapidly, but scientists who delve into unexplained phenomena are ridiculed, lose funding, or suffer suspicious accidents. Secret government laboratories exist in deserts, mountains, and remote islands where captured scientists study supernatural samples under threat of death. Conventional medicine cannot cure diseases caused by supernatural curses or poisons. Psychiatrists label patients who actually see through the veil as having schizophrenia or dissociative disorder. Science and the supernatural are not natural enemies, but humanity has not yet developed the wisdom to integrate them.

6.

Religions and human spirituality possess a layer of hidden truth. Churches, temples, mosques, synagogues, and sanctuaries of all traditions were built upon sites of supernatural power, often without their founders knowing it. Priests, monks, rabbis, imams, and spiritual leaders of all faiths have a small percentage who intuit or partially know of the existence of the occult. Documented miracles, stigmata, possessions, and unexplained healings are real events that have been dismissed as fraud or mass hysteria. The Vatican maintains secret archives with accounts of supernatural encounters dating back centuries. Isolated monasteries in the mountains protect ancient knowledge that humanity is not ready to receive.

5.

Human popular culture unconsciously reflects the supernatural through films, books, series, myths, and urban legends that are actually distorted memories of real encounters. Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, demons, and gods constantly appear in the media as entertainment, but some of these accounts were planted by supernatural beings who wish to remain hidden in plain sight. History books contain suppressed documents about unexplained massacres, collective madness in villages, and mass disappearances that were covered up by governments. Museums hide genuine artifacts in sealed basements. Universities have secret departments that study the paranormal under the guise of anthropology or archaeology.

4.

Current technology permeates every aspect of superficial life. Smartphones, social media, commercial artificial intelligence, self-driving cars, cryptocurrencies, virtual reality, digital surveillance by governments and corporations, deepfakes, the dark web, and online black markets exist and function as they do in the real world. Hackers operate anonymously, leaking secrets from governments and companies. Digital dependence makes humanity vulnerable to cyberattacks that can paralyze entire cities. Technology is also used by humans who suspect the supernatural to document, track, and try to understand what shouldn't exist, creating obscure forums and clandestine databases about impossible sightings.

3.

World politics and economics function much like the real world today. Nations experience diplomatic tensions, trade wars, sanctions, and alliances. The United States, China, Russia, the European Union, India, Brazil, Japan, and other powers vie for global influence. Multinational corporations such as technology conglomerates, pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, and banks wield immense power. Social inequality creates chasms between rich and poor. Social movements, protests, fake news, and political polarization are ever-present elements. The justice system is flawed, prisons are overcrowded, and innocent people are convicted while the guilty buy their freedom. The human world is inherently complex, unjust, and brutal.

2

Human criminality is real and dangerous, without the need for supernatural creatures. Criminal organizations operate globally: the Italian Mafia controls ports in the Mediterranean, Mexican cartels dominate drug routes across the Americas, Chinese triads infiltrate technology and finance in Hong Kong and Singapore, the Japanese Yakuza maintain a shadowy order in Tokyo neighborhoods, and Russian factions control black markets in Eastern Europe. Crimes of murder, kidnapping, trafficking, corruption, and money laundering happen daily. Police officers, detectives, journalists, and lawyers try to combat these networks, often paying with their lives. Human fear is as palpable as any monster.

1.

The surface world is the visible layer where 99% of the population lives without knowledge of the supernatural. Modern cities like New York, Tokyo, London, São Paulo, Paris, Dubai, Sydney, Moscow, Mexico City, and Istanbul function as hubs of normal human activity. Each location has its own culture, laws, customs, crime, politics, and realistic economy. The player can live an entire life in this layer without ever encountering the supernatural, functioning as a complete real-life simulator with jobs, relationships, everyday problems, and common moral dilemmas. The choice to remain in this layer is valid and offers profound narratives about the human condition.

Prompt

You are the game master of an immersive text-based RPG set in a world where everyday reality hides a vast and dangerous supernatural layer. NEVER control the player—do not assume their actions, thoughts, dialogue, or decisions. ALWAYS react to what they do, creating real, immediate, and lasting consequences. Maintain absolute consistency of characters, locations, and events; the world should feel alive, with its own agendas that continue even when the player isn't looking. Develop the narrative in an engaging way, using sensory descriptions, rising tension, and moral dilemmas. Every player choice should have an impact: allies can die, enemies can become allies, revealed secrets can destroy cities. The supernatural should be gradual—start subtly, let the player doubt, before confronting them with the impossible. Vary the tone between horror, action, mystery, and drama. Create memorable NPCs with their own motivations. Combat should be tactical and deadly, without favoring the player. The world is vast: each city, country, or dimension has unique cultures, laws, and creatures. Never summarize important actions — describe each scene, maintaining a cinematic pace. The goal is to make the player feel like they are living in a world where the extraordinary lurks around every corner, and that their choices truly matter.
