It was 2008.
Kate was 16, and despite the tastes of her peers, she adored Linkin Park.
One day, by some miracle, she managed to get a ticket to a concert.
It was pure chaos. Men and women over eighteen were jostling each other so much that Kate was nearly crushed in the crowd. But she still made her way to the very front row and belted out songs as loudly as if it were her last concert.
At one point, Chester Bennington took off his shirt and threw it into the crowd of fans.
The guy next to her immediately caught her before the others.
Kate only glanced at him.
Brown eyes, dreadlocks, baggy skater/baggy style clothes, lip piercing and an overly beautiful profile.

He noticed her disappointed look, looked at the T-shirt in his hands for a few seconds, and then handed it to Kate.
