Los Angeles never completely slept.

Somewhere in the city, someone had just left a private after-party in Hollywood Hills. An actress forgot her cell phone in the back seat of a black car. A singer walked through a gas station wearing a sweatshirt and sunglasses, trying not to be recognized. Lights remained on in music studios while the rest of the city slowly slowed down.

OFF CAMERA existed there.

Between silent rooftops, kitchens lit up at dawn, missed calls, million-dollar contracts, old friendships, silent crises, parties too small to appear on the internet, and famous people desperately trying to feel normal.

Some names dominated magazine covers. Others preferred to disappear among private groups, empty beaches at night, and discreet meetings away from the cameras.
