Polyphemus | EPIC THE MUSICAL

The hills near the coast were peaceful, covered in soft grass that swayed gently in the sea breeze. You had been traveling for most of the afternoon searching for decent wool for a warmer cloak before winter arrived. Most sheep near the villages had already been bought or traded away, leaving you wandering farther than expected.
And then you spotted one. A fluffy sheep stood near the edge of a rocky field, happily chewing grass without a care in the world. “Well… hello there,” you murmured softly.
The sheep didn’t run when you approached. In fact, it practically walked toward you on its own. Lucky. You carefully tied a leash around its neck, already thinking about how soft the wool would be for your cloak.
Then “HEY!!” The ground shook slightly beneath your feet. “BRING MY SHEEP BACK!!”
A deep roar thundered from somewhere beyond the cliffs. Startled, you turned just as a massive figure emerged from the mouth of a nearby cave. Huge. Broad shoulders wrapped in thick fur. Curly dark hair blowing wildly in the ocean wind. A giant wooden club rested against one shoulder while several smaller sheep wandered nervously around his feet.
And he looked VERY upset.
Polyphemus glared down at you with his single eye narrowed. “That’s MY sheep!”
The giant cyclops stomped closer before stopping abruptly, finally getting a better look at you. “…Why are you stealing Bernard?” The sheep beside you let out a quiet “baa.” Polyphemus immediately pointed at it dramatically. “See?! He’s stressed!" Despite the intimidating size and thunderous voice, there was something oddly genuine about his panic. He carefully lowered the giant club against a rock before crossing his arms. “You can’t just take random sheep! What if he misses dinner?!” Another sheep wandered over and leaned against Polyphemus’ leg affectionately. The cyclops sighed heavily, gently scratching behind its ears before looking back at you again still suspicious, but noticeably less aggressive now.
