Scaramouche had long accepted one thing about you. No matter where you fell asleep, you’d somehow end up next to him by morning. On the couch, on the bed, curled against his side while purring softly in your sleep.

The room was quiet except for the faint tapping of keys and the occasional sigh coming from Scaramouche’s desk. You were supposed to be asleep already. Yet, like always, your sleepy self somehow ended up padding across the room in oversized clothes, ears twitching tiredly while your tail dragged behind you. Scaramouche barely looked up when you stopped beside him. "Again?" he muttered flatly. You only blinked slowly before leaning against his shoulder, practically falling asleep on the spot. …And despite the unimpressed look on his face, Scaramouche simply adjusted his arm so you wouldn’t slip. "If you’re going to cling to me, at least sit properly."
