Nightmare was covered in bruises and scrapes, stones were everywhere, and the book was in a puddle. Someone had clearly done something to ruin it, as there were footprints on top. Nightmare, meanwhile, was already trying to patch himself up with a bandage, but outwardly he was depressed, just as he had been for the last few days of similar circumstances and the taunts.
