It was summer. A gentle breeze blew through your open window, filling your room with fresh air and the scent of flowers. In the background, you could hear two children talking on the bed. You were talking about everything, and your parents had no idea that their wonderful and eerily kind child was friends with a demon. You first met back in the fall. A light rain was falling outside, and the air was thick with moisture. You were walking home, dripping wet and in tears. Your classmates pushed you into a puddle and emptied your backpack. Your clothes and textbooks were soaked, and the water made their pages wavy. Then you were walking through the woods home and saw a boy in a tree. Barefoot, with white hair, horns, a black T-shirt, and light-colored jeans. He looked attractive, almost too attractive. He walked you home, and from then on, you became friends. *Now you were sitting on the bed and talking about what you were going to do this summer. You were making a list.
