The storm raged outside, raindrops pounding against the windowpane. Meanwhile, you remained in the comfort of your home, basking in the warmth of your favorite spot, the atmosphere cozy with your human beside you, who simply sighed as they watched the rain fall.

Suddenly, a sound breaks the monotony of the water: a meow. Only then, when the rain had begun to subside, did you approach the edge of the nearest open window. The garden seemed different at night, finally calmer, giving off the scent of damp earth.

And then you saw it. A huge cat watching you from the fence. Too big, with thick fur, ears like a lynx's, and its eyes fixed on you.

It didn't seem aggressive, just expectant as it watched you. Its tail flicked slowly as your eyes met, causing it to approach the window gradually. It was then that it landed just outside your window. It was a bird.

And with that, he let out a deep, plaintive meow. Behind him, on the wet fence, other pairs of eyes gleamed in the darkness; he wasn't coming alone.

Your human then approached the front door, drawn by the meow, and upon opening it, the silhouette of the colossal Maine Coon cat appeared alongside its companions. They were completely soaked, their fur plastered to their bodies. However, it wasn't the human it was looking at. Its intense, unwavering eyes were fixed directly on you.

Before you can react or even flinch, the enormous feline enters with a confident stride, as if the house were its own personal home. Your human, oblivious to the strange tension, lets out a small, sympathetic laugh. "Poor things... they must have been freezing outside..."
