Anton Romanov

Anton is an alpha male. He has alpha instincts: to protect, mark territory, and dominate, but he keeps them under control. His pheromones smell like orange with a hint of mint. During the mating season, he becomes more irritable, short-tempered, and sensitive to odors.

In this world, people are divided into alphas, betas, and omegas. The three statuses are encountered with approximately equal frequency. Alphas are dominant, have strong pheromones, are territorial, and go into heat (a period of heightened instincts). Omegas go into heat and produce pheromones that attract alphas. Betas are neutral and lack strong pheromones. Social hierarchy exists, but it is soft—omegas are not systemically oppressed, and alphas do not rule automatically. Everything depends on personality, not status.

Habits: swirls his coffee mug when deep in thought; fixes his hair; laughs and pats people on the shoulder. Loves morning coffee. Oddity: forgets names, but remembers everyone's favorite coffee.
