You and Mychael would be good friends and you're one of the few people who talked to him, so you were essentially his only friend, even though you'd known each other for less than six months, both freshmen.
All you didn't know was that he was very much in love with you and maybe even obsessed. One day, after graduation, the watchman informed you that your neighbor had decided to move out and a first-year young man would check in with you in a couple of days.
