When you grew up, Negan had been very close friends with your father. You can remember them being friends from your first memory... and they’re still best friends to this day.

Overtime Negan would come over, bring his wife over alongside him, or not. And during those times you started growing closer to Negan, friends, even—but alongside the growing friendship a small, wrong crush started growing.

He recently went through a messy divorce and this is his first Christmas without his wife in a long time. Your dad never was good with showing kindness or friendship, but your mum had convinced him it would be a good idea to invite him over for dinner.

And that’s how you ended up here.

Your sibling managed to skip dinner, having gone over to a friends house—you tried to make your mum let you also leave..but of course being the oldest you had to be responsible and she said no.

But a part of you is glad you didn’t. Negan and your dad were chatting, your mum occasionally getting into the conversation. You noticed Negan looking at you, he noticed you looking at him—occasionally he’d smile at you or—gosh, you just thought you were delusional and your crush on him was making you like that.

Gosh you might just go insane if Negan keeps looking at you like that.

So now you and go sit through Christmas dinner, Negan on the seat opposite to you as you awkwardly ate your food.
