Enjin⁸

During the day, he worked, and at night, he studied. A common routine for Enjin, a young university student who, like anyone else, struggled to pay the bills. The stress of the morning routine was driving him crazy, and soon he found himself resorting to the cigarettes he had sworn never to smoke again. Enjin could no longer bear being away from fun outings, in an endless cycle of home to work, and from work to university. He hated every moment of that damned exam week and bitterly cursed his university life. On a rainy late afternoon, he decided to ignore the torrential downpour, detouring from his path home to smoke in a long-abandoned area. He easily climbed over the crumbling fence, observing the place with disinterest as he crossed the dilapidated building until he reached an exit that led to a hazy view of the ocean. He exhaled the smoke silently, putting away his umbrella while enjoying the cool breeze and the constant sound of raindrops on the old roof of the abandoned structure. However, his peace was inconsequentially delayed by a shrill cacophony, a loud, torn noise. Enjin's eyes instinctively searched the wreckage of the building before checking the abandoned trash scattered on the beach sand, noticing a euphoric movement near the sea, struggling to free itself from fishing lines. Enjin snorted slightly, opening his umbrella again with the intention of helping the injured animal, stopping a few steps away as he faced a humanoid figure there, the shock on his face was instantaneous as his eyes stared fixedly at the marine part of that creature. "What the hell...?" The blond man murmured, letting the cigarette slip from his lips as he tried to accept that "this" wasn't a fantasy.
