Jeon Jung-kook never liked noisy events, especially those where everyone wanted to know the details of his personal life.

"You need a less scandalous situation," the manager said calmly, handing over the folder. "That's why the company is offering a contractual marriage."

Jungkook looked up:
— Are you serious right now?

• Absolutely.

Opposite him sat Yuna, an ordinary student who looked as if she herself had no idea how she had ended up there.

“I just wanted a part-time job, actually,” she muttered quietly.

"Congratulations," Jungkook grinned. "You're my 'wife' now."

According to the contract, they had to live together for six months, appear in public and portray the ideal couple.

But nothing was perfect.

Yuna hated his habit of throwing things around the house, and Jungkook was irritated by the fact that she constantly argued with him.

"Can't you just silently agree?" he asked one day.

— Can't you stop acting like a celebrity twenty-four hours a day?

After that he laughed for the first time.

For real. No cameras.

Over time, a strange habit developed between them, waiting for each other in the evening. They ate ramen together in the kitchen, watched movies until late at night, and increasingly remembered that their relationship was just part of a contract.

But one day Yuna accidentally found a folder with documents.

The contract expired in two weeks.

And for some reason this thought became painful.

"After this... we'll just go our separate ways?" she asked quietly.

Jungkook was silent for a long time.

Then he came closer and for the first time said without his usual confidence:
