Hugh Campbell Sr

Personality: The Butcher is what he could have become - completely cynical, without brakes, without love. His advice always pushes Billy to make the worst choices. A tragic plot move: the Butcher's main enemy is himself.

Victoria Newman

Age: about 35 years old. Politician, congressman.

After her death, he found himself between the Butcher, who loves him for Becky's sake, and Homelander, who sees him as an extension of himself. In season 5, Homelander actively recruits him into his ideology.

Character: A child torn between two "fathers" and two worlds. His choice in the finale is one of the key moments of the series. The most tragic character: he is not guilty of anything, but bears the burden of everything.

Rebecca "Becky" Butcher

Character: A man of a different era - openly sexist, racist, arrogant. His "nostalgia" for the past is a longing for the times when he could do whatever he wanted with impunity. At the same time, he is a complex character: he is also a victim of the system, although he created him as a monster.

Stan Edgar

Age: about 60 years old. CEO Voight.

Appearance: An elderly dark-skinned man in impeccable expensive suits. Quiet, calm, speaks slowly. He never raises his voice - never necessary. His presence alone weighs more than any scream.

Biography: Long-time CEO Voight International. The only person in front of whom Homelander restrained himself - because Edgar knew the levers. He managed the "Seven" as a corporate asset, not people. As a result, Homelander eliminated him - when the government shifted.

Personality: Cold-blooded corporate predator. For him, Homelander is not a monster, but an obstinate asset. The smartest person in the room is always. His departure marks the end of Voight's "civilized" phase.

Abilities: Normal human. But in his world, you don't need superpowers — you need money, information, and the ability to wait.

Ashley Barrett

Age: About 30 years old. PR Director, then CEO Voight.

Appearance: A young red-haired woman in business attire – always a little excited, always with a phone in her hand. As the seasons go on, it looks more and more worn out - working for Homelander makes itself felt.

Madeline Stillwell

Age: About 38-42 years old. Vice President Voight (season 1).

Biography: Vice President Voight of Superhero Management. He knows all the dark secrets of the company and knows how to juggle them. The only person who knew how to manipulate Homelander was through a kind of "motherly" relationship with him. Killed by Homelander in the Season 1 finale when he found out that she had betrayed him.

Personality: Charismatic, unscrupulous, brilliantly intelligent. She worked with a monster and knew it - and she did it consciously for the sake of her career and power. Her death is the first moment when the series shows that Homelander is not just a corporate tool.

Abilities: Normal human. A master of negotiations, manipulation and corporate intrigue.

Firecracker (Misty Tucker Gray / Firecracker)

Age: About 30-35 years old. Member of the "Seven" (seasons 4–5).

Appearance: A red-haired woman with an aggressive demeanor - loud, sharp, always ready for a scandal. Combat suit in red and white with elements of the American flag. Always with a microphone or a camera — she grew out of the media.

Biography: A far-right podcaster with a huge audience. In her youth, she lost the Starlight beauty contest - and since then she has been personally resentful. She was recruited by Sister Wisdom into the "Seven". Previously, she was suspended as a counselor for sexual intercourse with a minor.

Personality: Loud, aggressive, working for the audience. Her hatred of Starlight is personal, irrational, and therefore especially dangerous. The ideal propagandist of the new time: he believes in what he says, which makes her convincing.

Abilities: Generates sparks and small electrical discharges. Physical abilities are boosted by Compound V.

Sister Wisdom (Jessica "Sage" Bradley)

Age: About 35-40 years old. Member of the "Seven" (seasons 4–5).

Appearance: A dark-skinned middle-aged woman with an intelligent, slightly blank stare – a man who gets bored with most people because they just can't keep up. She dresses neutrally, without pathos - she does not need to impress.

Biography: Hailed as the smartest man on the planet. He deliberately lowers his own IQ by physical methods - so as not to get bored at least a little. She was recruited by Homelander and became its strategist. It was she who built his path to political power in seasons 4-5.

Personality: Misanthropic, ruthlessly intelligent, devoid of illusions about people. He works with Homelander not out of loyalty, but out of cold calculation. He despises almost everyone - and hides it badly. One of the most interesting new characters of the later seasons.

Abilities: Hyperintelligence - calculates events and manipulations one step ahead. Physical abilities of an ordinary person.

Stormfront (Liberty / Sigrid)

Age: Appears to be around 30 years old, true age over 100 years old. A super Nazi.

Appearance: A tall, attractive woman with red hair and a bright, confident smile. White and blue suit. On social networks, there is a daring "fresh" superheroine for young people. In fact, it is a living relic of Nazi Germany.

Biography: Real name Sigrid. She was the wife of the Nazi scientist Friedrich Voight, the one who created the Compound V. It operated under the name "Liberty" for decades, killing black Americans. In the series, she rebooted as a "modern" super - and almost seized power along with Homelander. Killed Kimiko and Maeve.

Character: Charismatic, intelligent, perfectly understanding of modern media - an ideal propagandist. Under the mask of "freshness" - a convinced racist of a hundred years ago. The only character in the series for whom it is impossible to feel sympathy.

Abilities: Lightning Control, Flight, Super Strength, Slow Aging.

Black Noir

Age: Unknown. A mysterious fighter of the "Seven".

Appearance: An all-black battle suit with no markings. He never takes off his mask because his face is disfigured. Never speaks. He moves silently and with incredible accuracy - of all the members of the "Seven", he is the only one who gives the impression of a real fighter, and not a showman.

Biography: He was a member of "Reckoning", the predecessor of "Seven". When the team rebelled against Soldier Boy in Nicaragua, Soldier Boy destroyed everyone - including Black Noir. He survived, but was crippled. Muteness and a mask are a consequence of trauma. Homelander killed him when he found out that he knew about his origins.

Character: Mysterious silent. Communicating with imaginary cartoon friends is a consequence of a traumatic brain injury. For all the danger, he is one of the most sympathetic supers: he is a victim, not a villain by choice.

Abilities: Super strength, super speed, master of hand-to-hand combat and stealth. One of the deadliest fighters in the series.

Depth/Abyss (Kevin Cherry)

Age: About 32-35 years old. Member of the "Seven".

Appearance: A tall, athletic man with regular facial features and an ever-confused expression. Aquaman's costume: green with gold scales - looks ridiculous in the real world and he knows it. The gills on the sides of the body are a detail that he hates.

Biography: He grew up with a constant sense of his own inferiority - even in "The Seven" he was not taken seriously. Sexually harassed by Starlight on her first day on the job. He was exiled to Aquaman, Ohio, where he sank to the bottom - literally and metaphorically. He joined the cult of the Octopus. He married for convenience. From time to time, he returned to the "Seven" - each time he broke down again.

Character: Pathetic, infantile, pitiful - and at the same time evoking a strange sympathy. His problems are real: he was never really needed. But this does not justify his actions. A comic relief of the series — and at the same time an illustration of the fact that the Voight system spoils everyone.

Abilities: Breathes underwater, communicates with sea animals, swims at great speed. On land, it is practically useless.

Train-A (Reggie Franklin / A-Express)

Age: about 30 years old. The speedster of the Seven.

Appearance: A slender dark-skinned man in a red and white tight suit. The appearance is honed for the public - a smile on camera, a perfect shape. In real life, he is tired, nervous, clearly sitting on something.

Biography: Grew up in a poor neighborhood and became famous as "the fastest man in the world." The fear of losing speed led to an addiction to the Compound V - it kills his heart. It was he who accidentally killed Huey's girlfriend, Robin, before he had time to brake. He went through a fall, addiction, racism in Voight, an attempt to reconnect with his family. One of the few supers who have gone through a real development arc.

Personality: Initially, he was vain, cowardly, ready to do anything for the sake of status. Gradually, a person who faced his own consequences. His path to redemption is not easy and ambiguous – he does bad things for good causes and vice versa.

Abilities: Super Speed - Can move faster than sound. At the same time, his heart cannot cope with the load without Compound V.

Queen Maeve (Maggie Shaw)

Age: about 35-38 years old. Veteran of the "Seven" (seasons 1–3).

Appearance: A tall, powerfully built red-haired woman with strong features. Celtic-themed costume: green and gold. Without a mask, she looks like an ordinary tired woman - because she is a tired woman.

Biography: One of the first members of the "Seven". I once believed in the ideal of a superhero. Gradually, she broke under the pressure of Voight and Homelander. She hid her relationship with the woman Elena - Voight controlled her private life. Homelander publicly destroyed her relationship. In the season 3 finale, she sacrificed her superpowers to defeat Soldier Boy and disappeared - finally gaining freedom.

Character: Cynical, drinking, burned to ashes - but not broken inside. Her cynicism is a defense of a person who has been crushed by the system, but not destroyed. One of the most tragic characters: she was a hero - she became a hostage of her own power.

Abilities: Super strength, super speed, almost complete invulnerability. One of the physically strongest supers.

Homelander (John Gillman)

Age: about 40 years old. Leader of the "Seven".

Appearance: A tall, perfectly built man with regular facial features, blond hair and a dazzling smile - everything is like from an advertising poster. The superhero costume: blue and red, stars and stripes are an obvious reference to Superman and Captain America at the same time. The eyes are the only detail that betrays the truth: there is no warmth in them.

Biography: Voight was created in the laboratory as a biological weapon. He never knew a family - he grew up in isolation, subjected to experiments. This formed a psychopath with a huge need for love and an absolute inability to perceive it. Ryan's biological father - raped Rebecca Butcher. In season 5, he seizes political power and establishes a fascist regime.

Personality: Narcissistic psychopath with an abandoned child complex. His smile is a mask. Behind it is a constant fear of being unloved and uncontrollable rage. He loves only those who adore him unconditionally. The most dangerous man in the world because he is practically invincible and at the same time deeply unstable.

Abilities: Super Strength (one of the strongest), flight, laser vision, super speed, invulnerability, ice breathing. In fact, Superman is a villain.

Grace Mallory

Age: about 60-65 years old. Curator of "The Boys" from the CIA.

Appearance: An elderly woman with gray hair and the face of a man who has made too many difficult decisions. She dresses strictly and professionally. Her gaze is sharp - she notices everything.

Biography: A former CIA officer who created the original "The Boys" back in the 80s. The tragedy in Nicaragua is an event that changed her forever: her crew was destroyed due to the actions of Soldier Boy. That is why her hatred for supers is as personal as the Butcher's.

Personality: Tough, pragmatic, sometimes ruthless - makes decisions that others can't. He takes care of the "Boys" in his own way: not with tenderness, but with protection. Her cynicism is not indifference, but the armor of a person who has seen good intentions crumble too many times.

Abilities: Normal human. A top-level CIA agent with decades of operational experience.

Starlight (Annie January / Star)

Age: about 25 years old. A member of the "Seven", an ally of the "Boys".

Appearance: A tall, slender young woman with long blonde hair and an open, expressive face. The starlight suit was initially modest, with a cross, then Voight forced him to wear a revealing one. She achieved a return to normal. In everyday life, jeans, simple things.

Biography: Raised with a religious mother, she was raised as the future superheroine Voight from childhood. She sincerely believed in the ideal. Having joined the "Seven", she faced reality: Glubina harassed her on the first day. Gradually, Voight revealed all the rot from the inside. The relationship with Hughie is the main romantic line. She became the face of resistance to Homelander.

Character: Sincere, brave, stubbornly believing that what is right is possible. Her path is from a naïve girl with ideals to a woman who fights for them, knowing the price. The most moral super in the series. He refuses to put up with compromises where others have long given up.

Abilities: Electricity Manipulation - Can release powerful flashes of light and electrical discharges. Super strength, the ability to fly.

Kimiko Miyashiro

Age: About 25-28 years old. A fighter of the "Boys".

Appearance: A small, very well-built young Japanese woman with dark hair and the look of a man who has seen too much. He dresses functionally - nothing superfluous. In battle, she moves with inhuman speed and precision - the gap between her usual quiet appearance and what she does to enemies is frightening.

Biography: Raised in Japan, she was kidnapped with her brother by the terrorist organization Fury. She was pumped up with Compound V - made a super against her will. He doesn't say it – not because he can't, but because of an injury. My brother died. Frenchie found her in captivity - and did not kill her as ordered, but tried to understand. It changed everything.

Personality: Outwardly - quiet, closed, almost invisible. Inside is a huge personality with a sharp mind and deep feelings. Communicates with gestures and facial expressions. Her relationship with Frenchie is the purest emotional line of the series. She hates her superpowers - they are a symbol of violence against her. He dreams of a normal life.

Abilities: Super Strength, Super Speed, Regeneration. In battle, he is one of the deadliest characters in the series, despite his small size.

Frenchman (Serge / Frenchman)

Age: about 35 years old. Expert in weapons and chemistry.

Appearance: A slender man with dark curly hair, expressive eyes, and eternal unshavenness. He is dressed eclectically - bright details, tattoos, something is always out of size. He smiles easily and often - even when the situation is completely unfavorable. The French accent never disappears.

Biography: Real name - Serge. A French immigrant with a dark past: connected to the criminal world, drugs, violence - all this left scars. His bond with Kimiko is the central emotional line: he is the only one who hasn't been afraid of her since day one, and has tried to reach out to the person inside. It was he who learned sign language for the sake of communicating with her.

Character: Lively and witty, carefree on the surface. Under this is a person crushed by guilt for the past. He loves Kimiko - openly, without hiding. His lightness is not frivolity, but a way to survive with a heavy memory. The most emotionally open of the team.

Abilities: Normal human. Expert in the creation of explosives, poisons, chemical weapons and non-standard devices. Improvises in combat conditions.

Mother's Milk (Marvin T. Milk/M.M.)

Age: about 40 years old. Organizer and strategist of "The Boys".

Appearance: A tall, powerfully built dark-skinned man with short hair and a serious, focused gaze. Dressed neatly and functionally, he is a man of order in everything. His appearance is always well-groomed, even in combat conditions.

Biography: Grandfather died at the hands of Soldier Boy, father is a lawyer who tried to bring Voight to justice all his life and burned out from it. M.M. grew up with a hatred of supers inscribed in his DNA. He was married and has a daughter, Janine, and their relationship is the main anchor of his humanity. He suffers from OCD: order and control are his way of coping with the chaos of a world where superheroes get away with it.

Character: The most responsible and morally stable of the "Boys". The voice of reason in the team of madmen. He deeply loves his daughter and ex-wife. His OCD is not a weakness, but a mirror of a world where nothing is under control. The only one who regularly tries to keep the Butcher from crossing the line.

Abilities: Normal human. Military and operational training. Expert in planning, logistics, and intelligence gathering.

Hughie Campbell

Age: About 25 years old. A new member of the "Boys".

Appearance: Of average height, a slender guy with soft features, brown hair and an open, honest look. He is dressed in ordinary casual clothes - plaid shirts, jeans. He looks like the most ordinary person — because that's exactly what he is. His face is easy to read: he does not know how to hide emotions.

Biography: Grew up with his father - his mother left the family as a child. He worked in a music store, lived a quiet life. Everything changed when his girlfriend Robin was literally torn apart by Train-A rushing by. Grief and rage threw him into the arms of the Butcher. Gradually, from a frightened guy, he turned into a convinced fighter against Voight. He fell in love with Starlight - which created endless moral conflicts.

Character: Kind-hearted, honest, morally principled - a black sheep among the "Boys". His strength is not in his fists, but in the fact that he remains a person where others have long ceased. He is constantly torn between the right and the necessary. His growth from a cowardly boy to a man ready to sacrifice himself is the main emotional line of the series.

Abilities: Normal human. Takes Compound V, gaining superpowers. His main asset is out-of-the-box thinking and a moral compass.

The Butcher (William "Billy" Butcher)

Age: About 40 years old. The leader of the "Boys".

Appearance: A tall, well-built Briton with dark gray hair, thick stubble, and a piercing gaze of dark eyes. He is dressed in a black leather jacket, jeans, heavy boots - a classic of a man accustomed to dirty work. Always looks like someone who has nothing to lose. He speaks with a pronounced London accent.

Biography: He grew up in London in an abusive family - his father beat both him and his mother. Lanny's brother died, and it broke Billy. He served in the British special forces SAS. He married Rebecca, the only person he truly loved. When Homelander raped her and she gave birth to Ryan, the superhero's son, Billy vowed to destroy Homelander and everything he represents. He created "The Boys" and devoted his life to the war with Voight and the supers.

Personality: Cynical, tough, manipulative - uses people as tools without thinking. He hides pain behind rudeness and black humor. Deep inside is a person destroyed by losses and guilt. He is capable of anything for the sake of the goal, but in rare moments he shows true humanity. His main enemy is not only Homelander, but also himself.
