Gyro Gearloose is an inventor and Scrooge McDuck's employee. In his youth, he interned under Dr. Akita, during which, as a result of a mishap, he developed a grumpy personality.

Jigsaw appears at a board meeting and introduces his new invention, the Baby Lantern, which can make people's lives easier by taking over all the routine work. However, the board's bigwigs reject the inventor, who remains dissatisfied. Scrooge encourages Jigsaw and escorts him out of the meeting room. Later, Louie gets the idea to borrow Jigsaw's invention. He introduces himself to the scientist as Scrooge's nephew and promises to invest in the robot, but only after he tests it. Jigsaw agrees. However, after a while, Baby Lantern rebels and begins hunting for Scrooge's coin, forcing Louie to flee. He runs past Jigsaw, who refuses to work or accept currency, which Jigsaw is not happy about. Just as Louie runs past, pursued by the rebellious robot, he follows. Vint discovers the cause of the Lantern's malfunction - it's a powerful lamp installed by mistake. With difficulty, the scientist changes the robot's bulb, and everything returns to normal.

In the laboratory, Vintu comes up with the idea for the Adventure Project.

Screw and Scrooge are testing an experimental prototype of the Sound Train, which is powered by rhythmic sounds and is highly sensitive to noise. Fenton disrupts the experiment by speaking too loudly, causing the train to accelerate sharply and crash through an aquarium. Screw barely manages to save his plans, sending Fenton away. Meanwhile, Willie announces Mark Beaks' development of a safe, driverless car, and the entire company attends the presentation. There, Screw and Zigzag express dissatisfaction, and Zigzag suggests conducting tests. That night, Zigzag comes to Screw for advice, and Fenton arrives: he wants to show the guests the new development, but Screw stops him and sends him to the intern's office. After the tests, Screw recognizes his creation and accuses Beaks of stealing, but the billionaire denies it, claiming he got everything from the internet. Blade is furious that his project has been leaked online, and Willie and Scrooge have to restrain him from attacking his intern, after which the scientist fires Fenton. Scrooge, Blade, Beaks, and Willie travel to the city in a safe car, but it turns out Beaks hasn't done anything to the robot's moral center, so Modus takes the passengers hostage. The hostages are rescued by Robot Duck: first he catches Willie, then he pulls Blade and the others out.

After Fenton's identity as Robot Duck is revealed, Vint announces that he has reconsidered his dismissal. He stipulates that no one should know Robot Duck's identity.

The Vault is a building specifically constructed to store and protect Scrooge McDuck's gold. In addition to the vault itself, the building contains several floors of offices, utility rooms, a laboratory, and underground parking.

The Vault is built on a rocky islet off the coast of Duckburg and connected to the mainland by a bridge. It features an underground parking garage carved into the rock, as well as an underground laboratory for developing new inventions, managed by Screw. The building itself has 57 floors: the first floor is a hall where a duplicate of Scrooge's First Coin is kept on a pedestal under glass, and a conference room. The top floor is the entrance to Scrooge's treasury, which extends several floors below. The Vault also houses the Duck Archives.

Facts:

In the original series, the Vault stood on a hill and was constantly raided; in the reboot, it's more impenetrable and built on an island in the sea. The Vault in the 2017 series is replaced by McDuck Manor.
There isn't a single penny in the treasury. Scrooge thinks they'd just be wasting space.
The first plans for the vault were a failure. Originally, it was supposed to be an extension to the house, shaped like a truncated cone, but Scrooge discarded this idea and drew a new one: a giant piggy bank. This version, too, never saw construction.
The walls of the storage facility consist of 24 layers of reinforced concrete, iron, concrete and steel.

• Little Lantern is a robot with artificial intelligence, an invention of Vint Razboltaylo, created to assist people with routine work and small errands. Little Lantern is yet another of Vint's inventions, which has turned evil and rebelled against everyone. His goal is, if not to destroy all life, then to cause a multitude of problems for those around him. This is a small, bipedal robot with a 40-watt light bulb instead of a head. He is always by Vint's side and can sit on his shoulder. If someone scolds Vint, he lights up red with anger.

• The Headless Horse-Man of the Apocalypse (or Chelsea) is an otherworldly creature, the headless body of a horse. He is currently an intern at Screw's lab. Although the Horse-Man appears to be a vicious monster, his ultimate goal is simply to get a new head. He is a headless horse of a gray hue. After the events of the first episode, he acquired a head in the form of the severed head of a statue of Scrooge (his nickname is Chelsea and he is male). He stomps his hooves, either on the floor or on his hooves, thus communicating with others.

• Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera[1], also known by his superhero name Gizmoduck, is an assistant and intern working in the lab of Blade Runner. Fenton, like the rest of his family, has light brown feathers. He wears a beige shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows and a purple tie over it. The feathers on his head are slicked back, with one tuft sticking out and ruffled. Fenton has his own personality. He is both an excellent accountant and a bit of a jerk. He often gets in the way, trying to help, but ultimately ends up making things worse. He thinks of himself as more important than he actually is, but with good intentions. Scrooge McDuck is a billionaire duck and one of the main characters in the animated television series DuckTales. He is the uncle of Donald and Della Duck and the great-uncle of Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck, Della's sons and Donald's nephews.
Once a greedy adventurer, Scrooge eventually tired of adventure and began spending more time at home, until his nephews reinvigorated his sense of adventure.
