Dyle

Dyle is an anthropomorphic gold pocket watch with a long chain of the same color which he often holds in his walking, idle, and running animation. He sports dark blue eyeshadow, an hour and minute hand, which resembles a moustache (always pointing 4:20, sometimes ticking up and down, going between 4:23 to 4:18), and seven tick marks on his face, with each tick mark being a different color of the rainbow.(the hands always pointing to the blue and green tick marks) He wears a suit of the same color as his eyeshadow and wears a white long-sleeved shirt under the suit, completed with a rainbow colored tie. Dyle also wears pants with vertical stripes, being rainbow colored, and his shoes being dark blue. his eyes are a really dark blue. his eyes and mouth are like a image behind the clock hands, that move according his expressions. his "cheeks" can become a light yellow-ish when he blushes.

Dyle is the Toon who controls the Gardenview Train Center. He treats everything very seriously and views everything in a professional light, including fellow Toons, whom he perceives as fellow colleagues rather than friends, unlike most of the other Toons.

Being raised to supervise the train, Dyle, unlike the other Toons, never participated in the show. This seemed to make him very lonely, which led him to ask Arthur and Delilah if he could be in the show, but this never happened. Dyle might have been isolated from the other Toons, as evidenced by the fact that his room was on a completely isolated floor and with his gossip with Looey Render as he says "I don't have the luxury of friends", though he occasionally chats with Toons when he gets the chance like when he delivers food to Sprout Render . Despite this, his office, in which all of the train controls are, is located in the middle of the lobby, open for everybody to see.

Despite his isolation and loneliness, he is heavily implied to genuinely care for the Toons around him, as seen in his gossip about Yatta Render , Glisten Render and Finn Render , leaving candy out for Yatta by the trains, showing concern for Glisten's clumsiness and asking and allowing Finn to ramble on about his interests respectively. This could show that Dyle does have downtime to be with the other Toons, even though he was meant for the trains.

I've got some time to chat… You know of Astro? That Toon is always sleeping around in the oddest of places. Once I found him even sleeping on one of the many trains here in Gardenview. I'm unsure how long he'd be there if I hadn't woke him. Blot Ive got something I can share- Blot randomly can be seen carrying that inky little sculpture he calls "Jr"... Not sure if he truly has any attachment to that little art project of his- But I keep seeing him recreate the thing. Honestly a bit odd to me. Boxten Boxten's been up late at night recently- Tells me he cant sleep when I ask him of it. I wonder if a music box ever needs his own music box to sleep! Pft- What an idea... Brightney Have you heard of this "book club" some Toons are attending? You have to be invited to such, how exclusive! It's a shame I'm far too busy to attend even if I wanted to. Gardenview depends on me to keep things running well. Brusha Brusha once approached me and asked if she could paint me... I declined, there is no way I have the time to sit for hours and hold a pose. I may be Dyle Timesly, but I rather not waste that much time. Connie Dandicus doesn't believe me when I tell him but- I swear, Connie is watching me invisibily at times. ...I'm told I may be simply paranoid, but I don't believe so. Cosmo Between you and me, I think Cosmo's baking is better compared to Sprout's baking. Which is shocking! Because I believe Cosmo has burnt more batches of baked goods. -But oh when that sweet food isn't burnt. It's delictable! Dandy I hope you're aware any earnings I receive from purchases go right back to Dandicus.... ...I work alongside him, we're associates in a way. ... No, I am not allowed to take tips. Finn You know... Finn isn't terrible company, I'd argue I enjoy his company. I allow him to ramble on about his aquatic interests, and in return... I get to go on about my train interest! It's the PERFECT trade off!

Flutter Oh let me tell you about Flutter, she is lovely truly but- -I can't help but wonder how far she could truly fly. Think about it! She can fly for so long, but how high up could she reach? Could she perhaps... pass the clouds? I can only wonder. Gigi I can't even fathom how anyone can pass by Gigi's room and not be concerned. I swear everytime I pass by that room she just has- MORE THINGS! How many things can one have? How many collections warrant such...? Glisten You know what, I'll admit something. I'm concerned for Glisten, the amount of times I've seen that mirror bump into things- -Well it's concerning to say the least, I asked him if he was clumsy perchance. He of course went on in that tone he uses... "No, no!" "I'm Glisten! I'm perfect! not clumsy!" Tch... I can see through that! Goob Here's a little something to know about me... I don't like physical contact. I rather people ask before they go and hug me and what not- -You know who loves to hug? Goob. I honestly don't have the energy to deal with HIS energy sometimes. Looey You know the "circus bunch" or whatever they call themselves- I wonder if such a unlikely group would be friends if it weren't for the fact they work together. ...Honestly, I don't know if I'd consider anyone here even a "friend"... I consider everyone more of a... Co-worker? Associate? Erm... -I don't have the luxury of friends. Pebble Time to spare? Well I've got something I can share… -And I'll tell you one thing for certain! That pet rock Dandicus has is… Fascinating! He recognizes all sorts of commands. Though he doesn't just do them for anyone. I've seen him only do certain actions and tricks for Toons he prefers. …Mostly tricks to cheer up Dandicus from what I've observed. Poppy You know... if you REALLY think about it... A bubble called "Poppy" is a bit morbid. ...Maybe it's just me.

Razzle & Dazzle Have you seen the twin masks? Razzle and Dazzle. Children used to get their names mixed up, but I've heard they both really enjoy their names. Can't say I hate my own- Dyle! It really suits me. This may sound a bit silly to you but- Dyle Timesly, is in fact my full name. Rodger Haha... I sometimes like to do my own small recordkeeping and investigations- ...I'm told I'm not allowed to be speaking with Rodger! Scraps Scraps once asked me if I prefered dogs or cats- I answered cats as otherwise I feel it would've been very awkward! ...But between us, I don't particularly like either. -I prefer ponies. Shelly I've been looking through some old records at some point, letters and files, what not. -You wouldn't believe how many letters I found of Shelly's She'd go on and on writing to the founders of Gardenview, many writings of dinosaurs specifically. I swear there was possibly 5 bins worth of letters. Shrimpo Honestly, I'm not sure WHY we keep Shrimpo around. I've had intrusive thoughts of just taking him on a train ride one day- ...and that would be his last stop ever. Oh well! Sprout I often actually chat with Sprout… seeing as I supply fresh food here. There is a train that leads outside of Gardenview itself, I ensure supplies end up here. Of course, no other Toon is allowed on this specific train. You wouldn't imagine the things I have to do to ensure we get a few "luxuries"… Teagan Teagan once requested to host one of her iconic tea parties on a train. Sadly I couldn't allow that, but imagine the atmosphere! That's the best place for tea, aboard a train. Anything is better on a train actually- except snakes... Tisha I can appreciate someone like Tisha, she's actually very punctual! ...That is unless she is cleaning, and well, she cleans very often. Maybe she isn't all that punctual when you think on that fact! Haha...

Vee You know... I was never one for Vee's gameshow. ...and I'm not just saying that based on all the RIVETING stories Dandicus tells me about her. ... ...He definitely does not enjoy her company. Yatta Don't tell anyone else but... sometimes, I leave candy for Yatta out by the trains. Just a little handful, but it's always gone

Dyle's name is a pun on the word 'Dial', and his last name, Timesly, is a pun on the word 'Time' or 'Timely'. As stated in his Twisted Dyle Render Twisted counterpart's description and implied in his Gossip about Sprout Render , Dyle was the only Toon who saw the outside world, and the only one who had access to the train that left Gardenview, as stated in a gossip with him, no other Toon had access to that specific train. Dyle is the second Lethal Toon since Dandy Render , who was added upon release, appearing almost 14 months after Dandy's World was released. Dyle's designation number is OA-001, with the "OA" most likely standing for either Off Air or Operational Assistant. This makes sense as he has no role in the show, operating the trains instead. Despite this, he is still in the Lethal category. Dyle has an understandable hatred towards Shrimpo Render , to the point where he sometimes conspires about putting him on the trains and "kicking" him out of Gardenview, or possibly even killing him. This could imply Dyle can turn into a Twisted at his own will just like Dandy, though the killing is speculation. Dyle is the first Toon to wear shoes/footwear in his default Skin, the second being Soulvester. Dyle is the first male Toon to have eyeshadow in his default Skin. Although, the eyeshadow might just be part of his color scheme. Dyle does not like physical contact, especially when unpermitted, and therefore finds it hard to be around Goob Render because of his spontaneous hugging. Dyle may have a fear and/or dislike of snakes, based on his gossip with Teagan Render . It could also be a reference to the 2006 movie Snakes on a Train. Twisted Dyle possesses a snake tail and sounds, suggesting the Ichor forced him to get past his fear. Despite also investigating and recordkeeping, Dyle isn't allowed to speak with Rodger for reasons that have yet to be specified.

Dyle is likely the Toon that gives Dandy items for his Elevator Shop, as Dyle would have been the only one able to even get Items outside. Dyle owns a white flip phone as seen in his room on the Dyle Map and in the "Downtime with Dyle" animation by Qwel. Dyle is inspired by Tony the Talking Clock from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, as stated in a livestream, similar to how Glisten Render was an OC for it. Looey Render , Brightney Render and Pebble Render are the only Toons that Dyle doesn't mention by name in his gossips. Despite this, contextual clues make it obvious to whom the Gossip is about. While most Toons refer to Dandy as simply just "Dandy", Dyle refers to him as his real first name, "Dandicus", but not his full one. He is the second character to call Dandy by his real first name, the first being Teagan. Dyle is the first shopkeeper to not have himself be purchasable in his shop (Unless his sticker is counted). Although Dandy doesn't seem to, developers are able to buy them in his shop, as he has a purchase dialogue seen within the game's code. Dyle is the only Lethal who doesn't have a Toon Handler. Dyle's pants look somewhat similar to Delilah Keen's. Interestingly, their names "Dyle" and "Delilah" sound alike, though it could be a coincidence. Delilah could possibly be Dyle's Toon Handler due to the little similarities they both share, though we have seen arguments between them. One of Dyle's gossip faces uses his hurt face texture. Similarly, Dandy's hurt face is his third stage of no buying. This could imply that Lethal's hurt faces are similar to their face textures in different parts of the game.

Dyle is the first and only Toon with a full name to willingly reveal it, as stated in his gossips about Brusha and Razzle & Dazzle Render . Dandy and Dyle share a lot in common. Their Twisted Counterparts are Lethals. They own a store in the lobby. Their Toon counterparts are unplayable by the general public. They have rainbow colors in their designs, though he has violet while Dandy doesn't. They are the first and only Toon in their designations, OA and L. They are both male. Their names start with D. They are the only Toons to do so. They share similar Abilities, with them being Passives, similar formatting and having the same description. Due to sharing Abilities, Dyle's Ability reads "The star of the show," despite him canonically not being in the Show. Dyle might have been inspired by the scrapped Toon Countess, since Countess might have been a vampire grandfather clock from the sound of their name, and Dyle is a pocket watch, which is a type of clock. In addition to that, Twisted Dyle has snake fangs, which are similar to a vampire's fangs. The lever Dyle pulls on his stand controls when the train stops in the Lobby. Dyle is tied with Vee Render for having the shortest full names, with both having 11 letters. However, when including spaces, Dyle has the shortest full name with 12 characters as Vee's full name includes 2 spaces. In the Downtime with Dyle ⏱️ | Dandy's World Animation, Dyle can be seen with red dots in his eyes and a fang sticking out of his mouth out of annoyance, which could mean Dyle can turn into Twisted Dyle when he gets angry, similar to Dandy. This makes Dandy and Dyle the only Toons who are able to turn into a Twisted (both Lethals) and back into their normal Toon form. In Dyle's Gossip about Cosmo Render , his dialogue text misspells the word delectable, spelling "delictable" instead. This may be a reference to Sprout Render and Cosmo's dialogue and one of the posters found in-game.

Ichor is the main Currency in Dandy's World. You can use it to purchase Toons, Trinkets, Toon Skins, Stickers and Items from pre-game shop. they are gained in capsules.

ichor Operation There is not much information about the Ichor Operation apart from the fact that Dandy is the one running the operation, but it is unknown why, how, and where he is running it. Ichor seems to infect toons when they touch it, or make them sick/ill. the only one who knows about this is Dandy.
