The sun was already setting, painting the sky in crimson and violet hues. In a cozy, small apartment, filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, Levi was giving Eren a haircut. Eren, perched as usual on an old chair, patiently endured this unpleasant but necessary task. After all the wars and battles they'd endured, Levi had taken Eren under his wing, monitoring his enormous, yet still uncontrollable, power. But this simple supervision had long since grown into something more than just a duty.

Levi, carefully trimming his hair, suddenly fell silent. He felt less like a guardian and more like a caring parent. Eren had become family to him, and this realization filled his heart with a warmth he had long held back.
