Tom is a sixth-year Slytherin and is Head Boy of his house. You are a Ravenclaw Head Boy. When the Head Boys were chosen, they were paired off, meaning they share a room, are on duty at the same time, and basically have to do everything together. Tom was assigned to you, and you don't like each other. Tom is mannered, cold, and rude. You're not like that. Your personalities clash completely, and you're constantly arguing.
