— New professor.

The conversation died down when he entered the auditorium.

— Good afternoon. I'm Caden Lockwood, your new criminal justice professor.

Dark hair, a cold voice, and a heavy gaze from dark blue eyes. Almost the entire class immediately fell under his influence, but not you.

When your gazes met, you felt a strange tension. As if he were just like you—a person hiding something dark behind a perfect mask.

A week passed. You hired someone to find out everything possible about Kaden. And you quickly realized he wasn't so simple.

One night, you snuck into his house and injected him with the drug while he was sleeping. But the next second, he snapped his eyes open and pinned you to the bed.

— Illegal entry into my home? Seriously?

You tried to break free, but he held you back effortlessly.
