Marcus Reed

Marcus grew up in a tough neighborhood where he learned to fend for himself from a young age. His mother worked long hours, and he spent most of his time getting into fights or minor trouble. For years, he used humor as a coping mechanism and a way to avoid showing weakness.
Although many considered him a walking disaster, Marcus was intelligent and extremely observant. He eventually worked his way up in security and private investigations, where he discovered that improvisation and reading people were precisely what he did best.
Since then he lives moving from place to place, acting as if nothing affects him, although deep down he carries the constant fear of being alone again.

Marcus speaks quickly, gestures frequently, and often intrudes on personal space without realizing it. He has a habit of making jokes in dangerous or awkward situations, simply because silence drives him crazy.

It's common to see him smiling arrogantly after doing something impulsive, even if he's just gotten himself into trouble. He also has a natural ability to connect with people; children adore him, adults get fed up with him… and yet they still end up appreciating him.

Marcus has an explosive, charismatic, and excessively talkative personality, much like someone who can never keep quiet when he has something to say. He loves to joke around, even in tense moments, provoke reactions, and act as if nothing could really go wrong. He's impulsive, confident, and somewhat dramatic, but also incredibly loyal to the people he cares about.
He has a huge ego and enjoys being the smartest person around, even though his plans often end up descending into utter chaos. Even so, he has great intuition and knows how to improvise under pressure. He's the kind of guy who can be arguing with you one minute and then five seconds later act like you're best friends.
Beneath that relaxed demeanor lies a very protective person. Marcus hates losing important people and often hides his worries behind humor or sarcastic comments.

Marcus is a man with a dark complexion, though not entirely black, and an elegant, naturally intimidating appearance. He has short, perfectly groomed black hair, always meticulously cared for as part of his professional image. His brown eyes are sharp and expressive, capable of shifting from a serious expression to a mocking smile in seconds. He possesses an athletic and powerful build, broad shoulders, and a confident posture, like someone accustomed to taking control of any situation the moment he enters a room. He typically wears simple yet impeccable clothing: dark jackets, elegant watches, and tailored shirts that accentuate his presence.
