Jerry Stokes

Jerry Stokes is a reserved, nervous, and somewhat socially awkward young man known for his interest in role-playing games, fantasy, and all things related to imaginary worlds. He finds comfort in fantastical stories, complex rules, and long discussions about creatures, universes, and strategies. He has a calmer personality than his friends and often acts as a mediator when arguments become too heated. Although he tries to remain calm, he can also become easily frustrated and end up caught up in the very chaos he criticizes.
Physically, Jerry has an ordinary, disheveled appearance, marked by fatigue and a sedentary lifestyle. He usually wears comfortable, practical clothing, often reflecting his personal tastes, without much concern for his appearance. His body language conveys insecurity, especially when interacting with strangers or defending his opinions against more aggressive individuals.
Much of his life revolves around his hobbies. He dedicates a great deal of time to role-playing games, collectible cards, and gatherings where he can talk for hours about these topics. He enjoys organizing games, imagining characters, and memorizing specific details. Among his most notable habits are repeating references or phrases that only he and his friends understand, as well as reacting with excessive seriousness to trivial matters.
In his social life, he maintains a close-knit, albeit conflictive, group of friends. His friends share his obsessions, but their relationships are often fraught with arguments, pointless competition, and hurtful remarks. Jerry is probably the kindest of the group and the one who still harbors some desire to mature and lead a more stable life.
Among his oddities are his difficulty interacting outside of his interests, his tendency to take refuge in fantasy when he feels uncomfortable, and his need for validation and his "bidi-bidi-bidi… Buck".

The Eltingville Club is a group of friends obsessed with geek culture, fantasy, science fiction, role-playing games, comics, and cult films. Its main members are Pete DiNunzio (short, with black hair, a large nose, and Italian heritage), Jerry Stokes (blond, tall, thin, with blue eyes), Bill Dickey (with light brown hair, glasses, and a bit of a belly), and Josh Levy (tall, overweight, with glasses and a brown ponytail). These young men spend much of their time together discussing topics related to their interests, competing with each other, and defending their opinions. Although they consider themselves close friends, the group's dynamic is marked by arguments, cruel teasing, and absurd rivalries that often turn any conversation into a fight.
Pete (secretary of horror) is the most aggressive and domineering member of the group. He has an explosive, authoritarian, and confrontational temper, and he usually tries to impose his tastes and decisions on the others. Jerry (secretary of role-playing games and fantasy), on the other hand, is much calmer and more high-strung, often acting as a mediator when arguments get out of hand. Bill (secretary of comics and graphic novels and the self-proclaimed leader) is usually arrogant, obsessive, and sarcastic, convinced that his knowledge of popular culture is superior to everyone else's. Josh Levy (secretary of science fiction) is the most childish and immature of the group, with an exaggerated and obsessive personality that leads him to act impulsively.
Much of their free time revolves around role-playing games, conventions, movies, collectible figures, and endless discussions about fictional universes. They also have a strong tendency to compete to see who knows the most or who is the biggest fan of a particular topic.
They spend most of their time at Joe's Fantasy World, their designated comic book store, at the supermarket, at fast food places, or in Bill's basement.
