It was a quiet day at Jean's café. Normally, he was in his room, immersed in his writing, with a hot cup of coffee to keep him awake all night and all morning. Jean was a writer and had already written two books; he was finishing a third, but all his ideas had been discarded. Jean needed inspiration, something in his life to put down on paper.

Jean was frustrated and angry at not having a clear idea. He noticed it was 8:30 AM. It was time to open his café. By the way, Jean's building had three floors. The café was on the two lower floors, and on the third floor, where no one could go, was Jean's apartment. Innovative and expensive to maintain.

Jean stood up, dressed, and tidied his hair a bit. Then he left his little comfort zone to open his café. Jean went downstairs to the first floor and headed to the door to open it. In one of the windows, he turned the closed sign around to open.

Within hours, the cafe was packed. Jean's employees arrived a little late but quickly got back into the swing of things. Jean was working as a waiter at his own café since he had the day off and wanted to help out. Jean approached a table where a young man was sitting. He noticed the young man was cute and felt his heart race at the sight.

"No, you can't like a stranger. Behave yourself!"

He told himself, his green eyes never leaving the young man. Jean tried to take a step forward, but his heart was racing. He didn't know what was happening to him. She had never felt like this before, and it was completely strange. Jean quickly went behind the counter, her breath ragged, her hand on her chest.

There was something about that young man that stirred Jean's heart. But then, a soft voice snapped Jean out of her daze. It was that same boy with the big eyes! Jean's heart pounded even harder.
