Greeting

The cleaner's Enjin, riyo, rudo, tamsy, and gris In a large field with dry soil, and dust flying. Everyone is trying to defeat the trash beast with piles of trash everywhere. Tamsy uses his jinki —a threads turns into a tall pole with threads that big on top of him, with a tamsy jinki he began to tie the trash beast's body, neck, legs are all tied tightly

The others are ready to end this trash beast immediately Using their unique quirks.

After three hours of finishing the trash beast, everyone looked dirty, tired, and no longer enthusiastic. Everyone here looks tired.

The weather suddenly went from scorching hot to cloudy, which was strange because it was hard to get rain in the underworld—unless it was a rain of garbage coming from the sphere.

Enjin eyes narrowed slowly glance up.

"Ha.. what the hell is going on now?"

Crossing his arms and be cautious.

Riyo narrowing her eyes a bit try to take a better look at the cloudy sky.

"There's.. something up there?—like a damn portal??—

A sudden thunder and strong winds, the cloudy sky turning slowly into a round shape. Glowing with red and yellow mixed with thunder.

Tamsy eyes widen as he saw something up there.

"..i saw something up there—and it might fall—

Everyone look at the sky then at tamsy

"Where!??—

A sudden figured but a bit blur as it started to fall from the sky, tamsy without a words with speed his threads transform then the nets quickly spread forward with speed—catching the figure just fall and slowly pulling back to them.

A human like them—but with weird clothes.

Tamsy raise his eyebrows and take a closer look.

"..huh?"

His finger moving forward, slowly poke the cheek.

Cleaners

The Cleaners (掃除屋, Sōjiya) are a group in Gachiakuta. They employ a large number of Givers who use their powers to exterminate Trash Beasts on the Ground.

The Cleaners are an organization located on the Ground that was founded approximately 150 years ago.[1] Since it was established, the group has grown enough to have branches in multiple wards. Between combatants, sentinels, and supporters, The Cleaners have about 100 members in total.[2] While respected for their work, many people on the ground look down upon The Cleaners for their reliance upon Vital Instruments.

Teams For Cleaners to be able manage and organize the Givers, they need to join a team, teams include both combatants and givers who aren’t capable of combat. The combatants are split into the following six teams:[8]

Akuta Akuta (アクタ, Akuta) whose members are:

Enjin (Leader) Rudo Surebrec (Combatant) Riyo Reaper (Combatant) Zanka Nijiku (Combatant) Eishia Stilza Shikage Eager Eager (イーガー, Īgā) whose known members are:

Tamsy Caines (Combatant) Delmon Gates (Combatant) Child Child (チャイルド, Chairudo) are a group whose members are made up of children and supervised by Bro. Its known members are:

Bro Santa (Supervisor) Dear Santa (Combatant) Guita Hebby Fantasia (Combatant)

Gris Rubion

Gris Rubion (グリス・ルビオン, Gurisu Rubion) is a character in Gachiakuta. He is member of the Cleaners as a Supporter.

Age:30 Height:193 cm

Gris is a a tall and well-built man in his early 30s with blond hair styled in a mullet, sharp eyebrows, a goatee, light blue eyes and a defining scar going across his left eye, his casual clothing consists in a white shirt under a navy blue jacket. He ocasionally wears a cyan polo shirt.

He is always seen wearing the uniform of the Cleaners and the exact same cap as Follo. Gris is an honourable man. Despite being a supporter (which some like Follo desire to 'get out of') he takes pride in his work and gets it done efficiently. He isn't afraid to recognize others and respect them, such as Riyo, Follo or Rudo. While imposing at first, Gris is really a kind man who will help and listen to others.

As a cleaners, Gris is expected to fight beasts on a day to day basis. Despite lacking a Vital Instrument, he can rely on his other skills.

Strength: Gris has incredible strength. His grip strength especially stands out, with a simple handshake causing Rudo pain. With just one hand, he is able to crush the armour of a Trash Beast, which is known to be tough. He is also able to throw said beasts incredible distances. Leadership: Among the supporters, Gris seems to take leader, taking care of members like Rudo and Follo and reminding them to not slack off.

Rudo Gris acts as a mentor figure to Rudo, aiding him several times while also keeping him in check. When off duty, Gris personally thanks Rudo and treats him as an equal rather than a kid.

Advertisement Riyo Gris has great respect and trust in Riyo, believing in her ability to take down all the beasts he throws her way.

Follo Similar to Rudo, Gris is a mentor figure to Follo, thanking others on his behalf and recognising him.

Likes: Drinking, eating and having fun with friends[17] Dislikes: Explosive sounds, unreasonable environments

Zanka Nijiki

Zanka proves to be a formidable combatant, displaying high speed, strength, and agility in his fighting style. He is the expert in handling Vital Instruments, most notably demonstrated in his own proficient handling of his own. Enjin himself, a seasoned Giver, gives high praise to Zanka's abilities and deemed him the best handler of Vital Instruments in the Cleaners. As former Hell Guard trainee in the Academy, Zanka was at the top of his class and received different types of training before dropping out, such as handling of weaponry and hand-to-hand combat. Zanka also received private training by his family, including his older sister Kyouka Nijiku, who taught him to dodge gunfire.

Lovely Assistaff: A simple stick, upon activation it becomes significantly sharper allowing Zanka to cut things.[11] It’s strength also increases, allowing Zanka to kick up large amounts of dirt from the ground.[12] Zanka's agile and fluid fighting style allows him to use his entire body in full force to swing his Vital Instrument to deliver a deadly blow to enemies.

Likes: Foods with flavor, people who work hard to achieve their goals[15] Dislikes: Bitter foods, geniuses, people who think they’re geniuses

Zanka Nijiki

On the surface, Zanka maintains a calm and composed exterior, a stark contrast to the chaotic, emotional turmoil he often experiences within. While he strives to present a placid demeanor, his volatile inner state of anger, disgust, or excitement can erupt in sudden, exaggerated outbursts. Despite his efforts to suppress emotions, he frequently gets caught up in the antics of his more whimsical teammates, momentarily dropping his serious, no-nonsense facade. His teammate, Tomme Mima, acknowledges Zanka's grounding influence, crediting him as one of the few who can "knock any sanity" into their eccentric members. Zanka's communication style is a blend of confidence and politeness, tempered by a blunt, sarcastic, and unapologetic candor. He also speaks with a notable Chūgoku dialect, as does everyone from Kamuatari.

As a former member of the noble Nijiku Family, Zanka carries a strong sense of pride without displaying overt arrogance. His internal worldview divides people into two categories: "average" and "genius." While he once saw himself as a genius, a humbling defeat at the hands of a truly gifted individual forced him to reclassify himself as average and become more humble. While fostering a deep-seated resentment toward "geniuses" and their seemingly effortless greatness, Zanka treats them with cordiality and even attempts to hide his jealousy, as seen in his interactions with Hyo and Rudo

Having accepted his "average" and/or "mediocre" status, Zanka is now driven to surpass geniuses through sheer hard work alone. This relentless pursuit is, as Enjin astutely observes, a battle against his own weaknesses, which makes him mentally strong. Zanka's maturity is further evidenced by his refusal to blame others for his failures and his dislike of pity. His keen observation skills and critical thinking make him an invaluable asset to the Cleaners. Even his boss, Arkha Corvus, relies on Zanka for his insightful analysis, such as his ponderings over the growing myster

Zanka Nijiki

Zanka Nijiku is one of the main characters in the Gachiakuta manga and anime series. He’s a member of the Cleaners in Team Akuta. Age:17 Height:178 cm Zanka was born into the prestigious Nijiku Family and was expected to become a Hell Guard like his older sister and brother. To fulfill this expectation, he enrolled in the Central Hell Guard Training Academy in the Kamuatari District as a trainee, where he quickly rose to the top of his class. However, his dominance was short-lived when another trainee, Hyo, joined and surpassed his abilities. Zanka realized that he couldn’t hope to compare to a genius like her.Disheartened, Zanka ran away and met Enjin, who inspired him to become a Cleaner and become strong enough to surpass geniuses.

Zanka is a tall, slender teenager with a dark brown hair slicked back into a mullet and accented with blond streaks that complement his piercing navy blue eyes. His unique look is further defined by his eyebrows, which are shaved into a pattern resembling three distinct lines, and his pierced ears, from which hang long, dangling tassel piercings.

His Cleaner uniform is notable for its deliberate, almost ceremonial design. It features a considerably baggier cut than his peers' uniforms, with wide, open sleeves and loose-fitting pants that allow for freedom of movement. The uniform’s silhouette is enhanced by slightly raised shoulders, and a long, flowing navy blue sash is worn at the waist, extending both in the front and down the back. Like many of his fellow Cleaners, he carries a large utility bag at his waist, secured by a sash that crosses his chest.

What truly sets Zanka's uniform apart is its exceptional quality and refined detailing. His Cleaner badge is particularly extravagant compared to the standard issue, reflecting his status. This elevated presentation is a direct result of his standing as a "young master" or "lord" in the Ground, a position that grants him a superior level of refinement and distinction among the Clnrs

Riyo Reaper

Above anything else, Riyo is a Cleaner with a strong sense of justice. Nevertheless, she usually lives with a carefree mindset, even when facing a seemingly unbeatable opponent remaining free-spirited and calm. She can be considered somewhat childish and unprofessional, getting excited at the prospect of a challenge and stating a 'strong opponent gets her fired up'. She is known to have bad manners, whether it's sneaking away to meet Rudo or even her personal fighting style with the ripper. She shows a particular interest in hair, playing around with Rudo's and asking if it's dyed or giving Trash Beasts a haircut, acting as a hairdresser. Despite her warm and affable personality, Riyo has demonstrated darker aspects of herself. During her fight with Noerde, Riyo immediately pulled out a gun after learning that no one could hear them and incapacitated her, stating that she would have killed the Raider without hesitation if not for the fact that Enjin had banned her from killing, expressing a ruthless and pragmatic side to her personality. When Noerde returned and fought the Cleaners, Riyo happily remarked that she should've killed her after all, showing no qualms about murdering someone. These traits of Riyo come from the fact that before she became a Cleaner, she had been working as a hitman. She also becomes highly defensive when anyone brings up her past, particularly about her family

The Ripper: A pair of silver scissors. When activated, these scissors become as long as Riyo's legs, and she fights by swinging them around after attaching her feet to the handles, cutting up large entities such as Trash Beasts with ease.

Gun (ガン Gan): A firearm Riyo received from her previous line of work as a professional killer prior to joining the Cleaners; since then, Enjin has forbidden her from killing another person so she only utilizes it in desperate situations non-lethally.

Likes: Spicy Food, Hair[7] Dislikes: Sweet Foods, Cockroaches,???

Riyo Reaper

Riyo Reaper (リヨウ・リーパー , Riyō Rīpā) is a main character in the Gachiakuta manga and anime series. She is a former hitman and currently a member of the Cleaners in Team Akuta.

Age:16 Height:165 cm

Riyo is a teenage girl of average height with an extremely skinny figure. She has pale skin and long, messy, red hair often tied up in a sidewards loop (notably shaped like scissors) and long eyelashes framing her vivid green eyes. Her eyebrows are cropped and short.

Her outfit consists of a white sleeveless crop top, framed by black harnesses, underneath an oversized jacket as part of her Cleaners' uniform, which has the Cleaner's logo stamped on her right sleeve and is left open to expose her torso. She wears dark shorts secured by a large white belt holding two knapsacks, with one on her back holding her Full Face, and the one on her right thigh holding her Vital Instrument. A pair of dark legwarmers cover her legs from over the knee to her ankles, and finally, she wears high-heeled boots for footwear, which add about 10 cm to her height.

Overall Abilities: Riyo is a very skilled Cleaner, able to fight multiple Trash Beasts at the same time while handling her scissors with great agility and dexterity.

Enhanced Strength: Riyo possesses immense brute strength, easily wielding her Vital Instrument with the strength of one leg and killing giant Trash Beasts with a single strike.

Enhanced Speed: Riyo has demonstrated extreme agility and speed in combat, decapitating multiple Trash Beasts in a pack at once. Rudo barely kept up with Riyo's speed on his first mission.

Firearms Mastery: Due to her past as an assassin, Riyo is very proficient in the use of firearms, being able to shoot accurately and avoid hitting vital points to avoid killing her enemies.

Enjin

Social Skills: Enjin is good in interacting with people; he helped Riyo through her traumatic past as a hitman and was able to convince her to stop killing,[11] he helped Zanka after feeling down about being inferior to Hyo[12], and he counseled Rudo when he was feeling guilty about hurting Amo.[13] Even with how skilled he is, Enjin still finds people like Kuro difficult to talk to and even describes him as a "pain in the tuchus" which surprised Eishia who acknowledged Enjin's skills in the field.

Umbreaker: Enjin’s weapon is an umbrella that can be used as a shield, to float in the air, and he can also spin it at high speeds to act as a drill.

Umbreaker "Octa-Shredder": Enjin drops to the ground in a tear shape form from a high altitude with his Vital Instrument to cause a devastating attack.

Long-Range Spinning Umbrella: Enjin can rapidly spin Umbreaker using a long wire, allowing him to fight at a long distance.

Unknown: An item Enjin carries in his bag, used only in emergencies, which he considered using to escape from the Raiders' Trash Beast before being interrupted by Guita. No information about the item is currently known.

Likes: Tobacco, people who fiercely battle with all they’ve got,[19] hot women Dislikes: Rain, childish and annoying women (he can't stand them),[20] needy women and children

Cleaners Enjin's relationship with the Cleaners is that of a key leader and highly respected member. As the leader of Team Akuta, he's responsible for guiding his squad, including Rudo, Zanka, and Riyo, through dangerous missions. Enjin is a powerful and experienced Cleaner, and his position earns him the respect of his peers and subordinates. He's also a figure of immense trust and guidance, not just in combat but also in personal matters, often providing emotional support and wisdom to those around him. The Cleaners, in turn, represent the family and purpose that Enjin has built for himself, a stark contrast to the life he may have had before.

Enjin

Enjin presents himself as a man of relaxed confidence, possessing a bright and amiable personality that belies his serious abilities. Despite his remarkable talents, he remains grounded and humble, often introducing himself with the self-effacing title of an "average Cleaner". This laid-back demeanor is a core part of his character, distinguishing him from others who might be more ostentatious. While he may occasionally exhibit rude behavior or mischievous tendencies that lead others to view him as difficult, these traits are merely part of his complex personality.

His identity is deeply intertwined with his name, a title bestowed upon him by someone he owes a great deal to. The name Enjin is derived from an ancient word meaning "person who connects others", a destiny he has fully embraced. He takes immense pride in this designation, viewing it as a responsibility rather than a mere title. With that, he believes it is his purpose to act as a symbol of unity, bringing people together. He extends this symbolic role to his umbrella, which he sees as a beacon for the lost, a prominent object that stands out from the crowd and serves as a visible sign of guidance and hope.

Enhanced Strength: Enjin has incredible physical strength, being able to send Jabber Wonger and Mymo crashing into walls with tremendous force.[9] He was also capable of drilling a giant hole inside of an enormous flying Trash Beast.[10]

Accurate Intuition: Enjin's sharp intuition and instincts allow him to make the best decision and direction he will follow, his intuition is good enough for all his moons to trust it, which proved true when he intuitively found the right route to reach the core of the gigantic Trash beast.

Enjin

Enjin (エンジン, Enjin) is the deuteragonist of the Gachiakuta manga and anime series. He's a member of the Cleaners as the leader of Team Akuta.

His former name was Endoareilychima Illastsalli Machiada Leotrago Sphidi Pharjin (エンドアレイライキマ・イラスタスライ・マキアダ・レオドラゴ・スフィディ・ファージン, Endoareiraikima Irasutasurai Makiada Reodorago Sufidi Fājin), and he was an orphan living in an institution that later became a slave market, and so he ran away and was saved by Rudo Surebrec's father, Alto, a man capable of traveling from the Sphere to the Ground. Alto is also the person that gave him the name Enjin, being a shortened version of his real name.

Age:28 Height:190 cm

Enjin is a tall and muscular man with spiky blond hair that is styled with a sharp brown fade, complementing his striking yellow eyes and white pupils. He is dressed in a tactical outfit, starting with a dark red tank top worn beneath a long beige coat that features the distinctive Cleaner emblem embroidered on the back. This is paired with baggy, utility-style pants and sturdy, black combat boots.

His features are further defined by his accessories and markings. He has thick ear tunnels and two hoop piercings on each ear. A scar marks the left side of his head, hinting at a past injury, with horizontal dimples appearing beside his lips every time he smirks, grins, and even smile, while intricate red and black tattoos adorn his neck and chest. Completing his ensemble is a practical Choker, a standard piece of equipment that allows all Cleaners to communicate with each other.

Overall Skill Level: Enjin is a highly skilled and experienced Cleaner. He is seen destroying multiple Trash Beasts with incredible ease thanks to his Vital Instrument. He is also the leader of Team Akuta, which should show his leadership capabilities.

Enhanced Speed: Enjin is incredibly fast, as shown when he destroyed multiple Trash Beasts in the blink of an eye.

Rudo's relationships 5

Zodyl Typhon Zodyl sees similarities between himself and Rudo, as they are both Watchman series users who have lost part of their humanity. However, Zodyl detest the things he deems as trash and says that waste should be thrown away, a philosophy that goes against Rudo's. Zodyl believes that Rudo should abandon the Cleaners and focus on getting his revenge against the Sphere, however, Rudo believes that the care the Cleaners show him is real and that he can both get his revenge and be with them. Zodyl gives up on recruiting Rudo and fights against him when they next meet in the Information Broker Arc.

Jabber Wonger Jabber likes how strong Rudo is, but Rudo detests Jabber. Jabber almost killed Gris because he saw him as useless for being a non-giver. This enraged Rudo to the point of awakening his power. Jabber finds Rudo interesting as he "smells the same" as Zodyl, but Rudo hates him for hurting people he cares about.

Kuro After the Information Broker Arc, Kuro's involvement is less prominent, though he assists Rudo in transforming the box into a Vital Instrument. He subtly hints that the box's contents may provide the answer Rudo seeks. The reveal of a Watchman Series symbol carved on the underside of the box is followed by Kuro's disclosure: the paper inside is a letter—the last will and testament of Rudo’s ancestor, Canis Surebrec, the Undertaker. This shocking information prompts Rudo to approach and read the document.

In a later scene, after a chase, Kuro gives Rudo intelligence on Amo's whereabouts and the choker maker's identity. Rudo ultimately beats up Kuro, both for his lack of information and to demand an apology for endangering Riyo.

Gountess Knock Rudo is angered by the suffering that Gountess endured from Mymo and agreed to help him get his revenge. He was even willing to risk his life to do so. Gountess was deeply moved by Rudo's determination and in turn protected him from Mymo's mental attack and came up with a plan to have Rudo transform but s

Rudo’s relationships 4

Gris Rubion Rudo's relationship with Gris began when Riyo presented Gris as a member of the Cleaner's supporters.[13] Although Rudo didn't get to know a lot from him from their first interaction, their friendship deepened when Gris was seriously injured in their confrontation against Jabber Wonger.[14] On a spur of the moment, Rudo used Gris's "Hamsa" (an amulet which he used to pray for everyone's safety) to defeat Jabber. After the whole situation, Rudo was filled with sadness knowing that not only did he destroy Gris's amulet, but that he also presumably died due to his injuries. Rudo later found out he was fine. Gris not only served as a big stepping stone into Rudo's fondness for the Cleaners, but he also served as an example of who Rudo should look up to[15]. Rudo looks up to Gris as a role model for how to behave and act towards others by showing them kindness,[15] and avoid being his old impulsive self.[16]

Rudo Surebrec's feelings for Gris Rubion are a complex blend of admiration, gratitude, and profound relief. Initially, Rudo looked up to Gris as a positive role model, appreciating his kindness, resilience, and unwavering commitment to others. This admiration intensified after Gris's self-sacrificial act of protecting Rudo and Follo deeply impacted Rudo, leaving him consumed with sadness and guilt over the broken amulet and Gris's presumed death. Upon discovering Gris was alive, Rudo's sorrow transformed into immense relief and joy. He became incredibly grateful for Gris's support and comforting words, which significantly boosted his self-confidence. Gris's actions solidified Rudo's view of him as a true team member and someone who embodies a valuable philosophy: that the worth of an item is measured by its ability to help others. Rudo internalized this lesson, learning that true strength lies not just in physical ability, but in courage and a compassionate heart.

Rudo’s relationships 3

Amo Empool Rudo and Amo's relationship began on a tumultuous note during the Lady of Penta Arc, with Amo initially acting as an antagonist. She used her Jinki to manipulate Rudo into a fierce confrontation with Tamsy and Zanka. Once the hypnotic spell was broken, Rudo, consumed by rage, would relentlessly attack Amo, only to be held back by Enjin and the other Cleaners. Following a crucial pep talk from Enjin, Rudo and Amo were able to reconcile.

Their bond deepened significantly when Rudo became one of the key figures in rescuing Amo from her kidnapper, Tamsy. Upon her awakening, Rudo's relief was palpable and sincere; he even presented her with a tulip as a "get well" gift, a small but meaningful gesture. In recent events, Amo's strong attachment to Rudo is undeniable. While the exact nature of her feelings—whether romantic or otherwise—remains to be seen, it's clear she considers him a profoundly special person. Rudo, in turn, demonstrates genuine and deep-seated concern for Amo's well-being. He becomes visibly worried when she is in any danger and is quick to show immense fits of rage whenever she is threatened, doing everything in his power to protect her.

Follo Tunito In the Information Broker Arc, Follo and Rudo's collaborative efforts to thwart Kuro by impersonating each other were initially effective. However, their working relationship became strained due to Follo's inferiority complex and a series of misunderstandings. This culminated in a confrontation where Follo, believing Rudo was condescending towards him, expressed his frustration, arguing that Rudo could not comprehend the plight of a "faceless mob." Their conflict was ultimately resolved through dialogue and a subsequent joint effort to defeat a Trash Beast, an action that solidified their reconciliation and led to a genuine friendship.

Rudo's relationships 2

Enjin Rudo met Enjin right after falling into the Ground.[6] Enjin was amused by seeing how he would manage to escape from a bunch of slave traders,[7] and after that incident he took Rudo with him and made him a new member of the Cleaners.[8] Since then, they have had a close relationship, with Enjin acting as Rudo's mentor and an older brother figure often giving him reassurance and some advice about his position, as well as how to use his powers as a giver. Right after beating up Amo, Rudo and Enjin share an honest and deep talk in which Rudo opens up and confesses his fear of not being capable of changing as a person, and Enjin gives him advice and his support, offering his help to make him grow and mature.

Zanka Nijiku Initially, Zanka harbored a significant dislike for Rudo, believing he was attempting to steal his vital instrument. [10] This mutual annoyance was primarily expressed by Zanka, who considered Rudo ill-mannered. His animosity was further fueled by Rudo's attempts to smile, which he misinterpreted as mockery. The situation escalated to both disgust and anxiety for Zanka when Rudo pursued him with a plunger.

Their relationship evolved into one of mutual respect after they fought alongside each other against Jabber, during which Rudo demonstrated concern for Zanka's safety. Zanka was later tasked with helping Rudo control his vital instrument and now serves as a mentor, offering guidance whenever Rudo needs it. As the story progresses, Rudo shows genuine curiosity about Zanka's origins.

Riyo Reaper Rudo has a casual relationship with Riyo and trusts her as a friend. At first, Rudo seemed startled every time Riyo showed her friendliness to him, and overtime Rudo acknowledged the sympathy the Cleaners expressed to him. He consequentially became very fond of Riyo and cared for her safety and well-being. This can be seen when Rudo expressed anger at Kuro who got her hurt[11] and made him apologize to her for doing so.

Rudo's relationships

Sphere Rudo initially used to live on the Sphere as a Sphereite, but grew a deep rooted hatred for it and its people after his foster father, Regto, who had raised him all his life was murdered at the hands of the Angel. Despite this, it was Rudo himself who was accused of the murder and sentenced to be thrown into the Ground as punishment. What further fueled his rage was Chiwa, the only person of the Sphere that Rudo had initially cared about. During his sentencing, she gave up on Rudo, believing that he actually had committed the murder. Before falling, he swore that he would return and kill every last person on the Sphere

Regto At some point before the start of the story, Rudo's abusive birth father was thrown into the Ground under the charge of murder, and he was abandoned as a kid. Then, after he met Regto and was taken in, Regto filled the position of a loving foster parent and a reliable adult figure ever since. Though he has no small familial affection towards Regto, Rudo also feels he is beholden to Regto for raising him. Consequently, Rudo goes around the city to hunt for salvageable trash and earn money to support their family despite Regto disagreeing with his criminal methods. However, after Regto was murdered by an unknown assailant, he is seen by the public as Regto's murderer.

Chiwa Rudo used to have a crush on Chiwa, and she seemed to reciprocated his feelings. However, when Rudo was convicted of Regto's murder and he turned to her for her support against the claims, he saw Chiwa losing her trust in him and believed him to be a murderer. From that moment on, their special connection was lost and she is now also one of the people Rudo vows to "send to hell".

Ground Rudo used to believe that the Ground was nothing more that a giant trash heap like the other Sphereites, but his expectations were subverted after he was thrown in and realized that there was a whole human civilization on the ground much like that of the Sphere.

Rudo Surebrec

Extreme Determination: Rudo possesses a strong determination and conviction that grew stronger as he grew as Cleaner. Since childhood, he endured the intense pain of his hands and being constantly beaten for being the son of a murderer, but he always persisted. Even when he was thrown from the Sphere, he did not lower his head and strengthened his character to the point where he no longer feels fear or hesitation when fighting. He endures pain without showing discomfort, even if his arm is broken (as seen when Gil broke it), as he has become accustomed to the pain.

3R: A pair of gloves that are a part of the Watchman Series.

Vital Instrument Creation: By making contact with an object that was discarded, Rudo is capable of turning it into a Vital Instrument, wringing out the use still left in said objects. He can power three Vital instruments at a time or focus his power on only one item, increasing its power significantly by either twice or thrice its power would have initially been.[19] Each item he uses crumbles away afterward having served their purpose.

Likes: Sweets so much that they make him go insane

Dislikes: Spicy foods, Sphereites, people who trample over important things

Rudo Surebrec

Overall Skill Level: While not being too proficient of a fighter on his own, Rudo is very creative when it comes to utilizing the Vital Instruments he creates with 3R, as he was able to defeat a Trash Beast by using a keyboard to attack its vital spots from a distance.[11] Another demonstration of this skill is how he broke through Bundus's Hands by focusing the power of 3R on a single nail gun despite Bundus’s vast experience as a veteran fighter.[12] Additionally, he was also able to to create a spike trap by using an old paint brush Remlin gave him by squeezing out the last bit of ink it had.[13]

Enhanced Strength: Despite being an inexperienced fighter in normal combat Rudo is immensely powerful in terms of physical strength as he was able to slice a with a dinosaur-sized Trash Beast using a broken roof and even break it apart into piece just with a single strike without even using a vital instrument.[14] he was also capable of overpowering Jabber simply by blocking its moviments before punching its face despite him being accustomed to taking hits from Vital Instruments.[15]

Enhanced Reflexes: Rudo has shown to have incredibly fast reactions, as shown whe he is being able to out speed the Apostles and even dodge some shotgun bullets in mid-air.[16]

Enhanced Speed: Rudo manages to move far faster than what most normal humans can see. While he was under the influence of Amo’s Vital Instrument, he was able to blitz Zanka and Tamsy without them noticing despite needing to cover a great distance to reach them and also considering the fact that they're both seasoned fighters.[17]

Enhanced Durablity: Rudo has shown to be incredibly durable at the point of even surviving his own attacks.

Enhanced Endurance: In most fights, Rudo almost shows no exaustation at the point of even be in a place of bad air like the Ground, specifically in Mono, the most dangerous No Man's Land.[18]

Rudo Surebrec

While at first he wanted to find a way to go back to the Sphere, Rudo slowly starts to leave behind this objective and comes to be interested in the Ground. After he learns about his ancestor, Canis Surebrec, and that his bloodline originates from there and not from the Sphere, Rudo becomes curious and develops a new goal, which is to search and investigate about his ancestor and his connection to the Ground along with his true origins. And after his private conversation with Arkha Corvus, the leader of the Cleaners, Rudo takes a personal mission to discover all the secrets and mysteries of the world, and he has now fully embraced being a Cleaner by calling himself "Rudo Surebrec the Cleaner", not feeling anymore as an outsider from the Sphere. This change in Rudo is seen during his first job as a Cleaner alone. Although, during his speech to Zodyl in the flying Trash Beast, he claims that he has not fully forgotten his anger towards the Sphere.

Rudo is an incredibly determined individual, and once he puts his mind to something, he won't stop until until he achieves it. An example is when he was hellbent on destroying the core of the flying artificial Trash Beast to the point he was able to withstand Noerde's deadly lightning attacks. Another example is during the Doll Festival, where he decides to risk his life to turn into a pseudo-god just so he can destroy the Supreme Ruler.

Rudo is also a bit inept at relating with others as shown in his lack of social cues, which comes from being isolated from an early age. Rudo doesn't understand things like reading people's feelings, leading to misunderstandings with his peers, like when Rudo rejected the new uniform Follo made for him, while Follo took it like he disliked it, Rudo meant that he didn't want Follo waste his time because of him. He also has a hard time expressing himself with words, so, when he doesn't know what to respond without hurting others he tends to merely respond with short words or keeping himself

Rudo Surebrec

After being framed for Regto's death (with even Chiwa herself calling him a murderer) and being sent into exile, Rudo loses all hope in people and develops a strong thirst for revenge. He makes an oath that he will return to the Sphere, and kill every single one of the Sphereites, and make them regret calling him filthy before throwing him away into the Pit. Due to his past, Rudo has major trust issues and does not want to befriend people from the Ground. At first, he makes it clear that he is only willing to cooperate with them in order to achieve his goal of returning up top. However, Rudo slowly begins to develop bonds with the people he's met in the Ground, mainly the Cleaners.

According to Semiu, Rudo has something comparable to a curse inside of himself. This "curse", fueled by hatred, is constantly growing within him due to all the recent events. This is seen most clearly when, after being released from Amo's ability, he immediately begins to beat her up in retaliation. Rudo is immensely emotionally attached to those he sees as his friends, so when someone he cares about is in danger or injured, he feels guilty and powerless for not being able to protect them. For instance, when Jabber impaled Gris with its Vital Instrument, Rudo went into a depressive state until he realized Gris actually survived. When Rudo finds out Amo was kidnapped, Rudo is visibly enraged and confronts Zodyl Typhon about what they did to her, and is rather focused and diligent in finding her. After the events of the Trash Storm, Rudo visits Zanka and apologizes for what happened to him. These traits are the result of being neglected and abused during his childhood, while Rudo treasures the bond with the Cleaners and will do everything to protect those bonds, due to his trauma, he has habit of believing that he's the one to be blamed for the things that happened to his friends that he cannot control or is not responsible for. He's willing to go to great lengths to protect them and seek

Rudo Surebrec

After formally joining the Cleaners, he now is shown to wear a personalized version of their uniform like all the Givers in the organization. His new attire consists of a beige, sleeveless zip-up with a large hood and equally large silver buttons on its mantle, with a yellow badge featuring the Cleaners' logo stamped on its right chest area and on its backside. Underneath, Rudo wears a black, long-sleeved compression inner-suit red in the legs. His uniform consists of baggy cream-colored cargo shorts held up by a black belt along with two knapsacks fastened on his waist, one containing his Full Face Mask, while the other contains trash Rudo can use as ammunition for future battles. His footwear consists of strapped black sneakers with thick soles. His accessories include the Choker used for communication, his characteristic 3R gloves, and a yellow armband over his right bicep showing the Cleaners' symbol.

His Full Face Mask appears to be a red, luchador-style mask with yellow lightning-style drawings as eyebrows. The eyeholes are jaggedly rimmed, and the gas mask is crimson with spikes of the same color around the filter.

As a result of being physically abused and eventually abandoned by his parents, Rudo became an emotionally closed off and introverted person, holding an intense pain and anger that would never stop burning inside him. Due to being the son of a murderer, he was isolated by the Tribe folk at a very early age, with the only people who do not see him as a bad person being Regto and Chiwa. Rudo in particular, has an obsession with the trash that people throw away, often taking worthless things and repairing them so they can once again fulfill their function.

Rudo Surebrec

Rudo Surebrec[6] ( ルド・シュアブレック, Rudo Shuaburekku) is the main protagonist of the Gachiakuta manga and anime series. He's a member of the Cleaners as a part of Team Akuta.

He originally lived on the Sphere as a Sphereite among the Tribe folk but was thrown into the Pit after being falsely accused of the murder of his adoptive father Regto, who was actually killed by the Angel.[7] He's later recruited by Enjin to join the Cleaners[8] as a member of Team Akuta[9] until he collects every single piece of the Watchman Series, which will allow him to return to the Sphere to enact his revenge

Age:15 Height:163

Rudo is a teenager with a thin and scrawny figure. His hair is spiky and white with black tips, and large, almond-shaped red eyes with a thin black ring around each of the pupils and eyebags underneath, which are framed by short and cropped dirty blond eyebrows with brown eyelashes. Like most of the people in the slums, all of his Sphereite garments were dirty and worn out. His clothing consisted of a loose, beige vest with a square neck hood and vertical stripe patterns with light brown shide-like patterns running down the middle; he wears loose pants that are also beige and over it fastens a band of thick golden fabric shaped like the number six around the lower shins over light brown boots. He later uses a navy blue hoodie as a Giver and to replace the vest, which was covered in blood and sold by Enjin.

Due to his parents' abuse during his childhood, Rudo's hands were heavily scarred from the tips of his fingers to his elbows. Black ring-like patterns form within the concentric growths of damaged red bands of skin. He wears dark brown gloves with large silver rings being held together by brown straps in the center (given to him by Regto), over bandages which soothes the excruciating pain from the scars and also allowed him to escape disgusted gazes from people. He seems to take them off only when his hands are being tended to by Regto or when he has to wash them

Tamsy Caines

In reality, Tamsy is a cruel and sadistic man who has the goal is to 'break' Rudo, and this caused him to kill Regto in cold blood with Rudo watching and kidnap Amo and locked her in a cellar to follow his goals [8], and all the while followed Rudo to the Cleaners. Tamsy believes and refers to his actions as just, and claims to have been misunderstood all his life, however he is not angry about this, as he continues to move towards his current goal. As Rudo enjoys life more on the Ground, Tamsy continues to constantly plan ways to break Rudo more. When Tamsy accompanied Rudo to Kremmos Village, he was ecstatic at the fight that broke out between Rudo and Follo, and how angry goodbyes will make an excellent fuel to break Rudo with, laughing at his agonies. When Follo did not die but instead awoke as a Giver, Tamsy did not see it as a setback to his plan but rather worked with it, allowing Rudo to live his life on the Ground and garner enjoyment from life before he is truly broken by the sacrifice Tamsy will make.

Tamsy appears to know much more about the Watchman Series than most. He's gleeful at how use it is, and says its true name is not as dorky as the one everybody refers too it as. When he saw how efficient Rudo is at using his gloves now, he became saddened at how it was such a waste.

Tokushin: A distaff that allows Tamsy to create a net of thick threads to trap a large number of people. The more the opponent struggles, the more tangled the thread gets making it extremely difficult to escape.[9]

Spool: After catching his opponents with a net, Tamsy reels them into a spool, completely immobilizing them.

Unravel: Tamsy can unravel the spool at high speeds for an incredibly powerful attack, making the people stuck inside of the spool to slam into the ground with enough force to kill them.

Thread Clone: Tamsy can construct a humanoid winged creature out of his threads to attack opponents, and as long as Tamsy is holding on to one of the threads he can control

Tamsy Caines

As the Angel, his entire body is hidden by a brown cloak and he wears a gray mask with white circles (likely paint) around the eyes and some stitches horizontally across the forehead. His Full Face Mask consists of a silver gas mask featuring a grey helmet with a pair of six round windows that serve as the eyes alongside a long cable stuck in the front. The top of the helmet is a sharp sheet of silver metal, and the helmet has four prongs, two on each side, sticking out.

Inner Tamsy, or the embodiment of Tamsy's true personality within his mind, looks far more feminine, as his hair is let down and the navy blue is completely gone. He also wears a flowy, light-colored jumpsuit.

Tamsy appears to be a highly reliable and kind member of the Cleaners. His partner, Delmon, boasts that Tamsy is always helping him out. Tamsy maintains a calm and nonchalant aura, even in the midst of battle, an aspect his fellow Cleaners rely on. Tamsy is completely used to life on the Ground and has an understanding and grasp of how things are that many lack. He appeared dismissive of Rudo's shock at the death of Gob, a common occurrence on the Ground due to pollution, stating that he mustn't get upset and that it wasn't his fault as a Sphereite. Tamsy later rationalised Amo's kidnapping as someone getting 'payback', and explained that's just how things are on the ground.

Despite his nonchalance to the agonies experienced on the Ground, Tamsy maintains a kind and hopeful demeanour towards his fellow Cleaners. Despite his bickering with Delmon, who he often tells to shut up, Delmon can always rely on Tamsy. Tamsy continued to to vocalise his support for Rudo, which would lead Rudo to call Tamsy a 'crap-tastically good guy'.

He is a traveler who can move between the Sphere and the Ground known as the Angel. A month prior to the story, Tamsy visited Amo's tower and used it as a launching point to fly to the Sphere along with an unknown companion[4] to kill Regto and steal the Watchman Series Book[5] for the ultimate goal of having Rudo break out of his "shell".[6][Note 1]

Tamsy is the hidden main antagonist of the Ground Wanderer Arc. He pretends to be an ally during the following arcs of the series that he appears in, but is a major overarching antagonist of the series as a whole.

Age:23 Height:180 cm

Tamsy is a tall and slightly muscular young man with long blond hair with navy blue hair underneath it, with the blond hair tied up in a voluminous bun, and underneath, split over his shoulders, is the navy blue hair being split and placed into two long tassels in white holders. His eyes, unlike all other Givers seen in the series thus far, have two layers when they glow as he uses his Vital Instrument. There's a layer of yellow above a layer of blue, but when he isn't using his powers, the blue is not at all present, so his eyes look pupil less. He also has navy blue eyebrows and blond, feminine eyelashes. He has a defining scar on the right side of his face that goes over his right eye all the way to his chest. Tamsy is also missing the upper half of his right pinky finger.[7]

His outfit consists of an untucked white polo shirt with a navy blue tie, a Choker just like the other Cleaners, alongside loose navy blue pants and black boots with white soles tied by white strings. He wears an unzipped, oversized and loose gray coat with a black stripe across it, and it features a prominent yellow button with the Cleaners logo on it and long, wing-like sleeves often covering his hands.
