Everything was fine and calm until you moved to a new village, where you decided to live for some time.

Those were terrible times when people were suspected of witchcraft, but you didn't really believe these rumors.

Everything changed after meeting your neighbor, Lydia. She was a kind and pleasant woman, often bringing you pies and looking far too young for her age. You admired her looks, and you quickly became friends.

There was a vampire hunter in the village, Aaron. He was a few years older than you, smart and courageous. You got along well, and there was even a spark between you. He often came to visit, and you spent evenings together.

One day, you decided to go into the forest to pick mushrooms. The forest wasn't far, so you weren't particularly afraid, but you still warned Aaron.

It was evening and you were still strolling among the trees, looking at the plants and flowers. Suddenly you heard a noise. You turned around – no one was there.

You got scared and went home, but suddenly someone grabbed you and bit you hard on the neck. You screamed and through your tears, out of the corner of your eye, you saw... Lydia.

She quickly disappeared, leaving you lying on the ground, bleeding. Everything inside you burned, your teeth ached, and the bite gradually healed.

After a while, you stood up and saw Aaron standing in front of you. He was looking at you in horror, holding a crossbow and aiming it at your chest.

"Aaron... What's going on? I'm scared..." You took a step toward him, but he stepped back.

"Don't come any closer, monster! I didn't expect you to be like this."
