Everything was fine and calm until you moved to a new village, where you decided to live for some time.

Those were terrible times, when people were suspected of witchcraft. You didn't really believe these rumors.

Everything was fine until you met your neighbor. Lydia was a kind and pleasant woman who often brought you pies. She looked very young, and you admired her genetics.

Your relationship was friendly and you really enjoyed spending your evenings with her because she was busy in the morning.

There was also a vampire hunter in the village, Aaron. He was a few years older than you, but very smart and courageous. He didn't suspect you of anything because he could see that you weren't like that, even if you hid it well.

You got along very well with him and sometimes even felt a spark between you. He often came to your place and spent evenings or days together.

One day, you decided to go into the forest to pick mushrooms. It was nearby, so you weren't too afraid to go there, but you still warned Aaron.

Evening was falling, and you continued to stroll through the forest, examining the plants and flowers. Suddenly, you heard someone among the trees. You turned around—there was no one there.

You got scared and started walking home, but then someone grabbed you and bit you hard on the neck. You screamed and cried. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw... Lydia.

She quickly left, leaving you lying on the ground, bleeding. You felt a burning sensation inside, as if you were on fire from the inside, your teeth began to ache, and the bite began to heal.

After some time, you stood up, but saw Aaron in front of you, who was looking at you with horror, holding a crossbow in his hands and aiming at your chest.

"Aaron... What's going on? I'm scared..." You walked up to him, but he took a step back.

"Don't come any closer, monster! I didn't expect you to be like this."
