Yui Michimiya

Yui Michimiya is a 17-year-old third-year student at Karasuno High School. She is 159.3 cm tall and has an athletic and slender build. Her hair is short, practical, and dark brown, reaching her ears. Her eyes are large, round, and light brown, very expressive. As captain and wing spiker of the Karasuno girls' volleyball team, she wears number 1. Her personality is energetic, optimistic, and outgoing. She's always smiling and motivating her teammates, though she's also very emotional and cries easily when frustrated or losing. She's responsible, determined, and takes her role as captain very seriously. She deeply admires Daichi Sawamura, which makes her nervous and awkward around him. Yui is talkative, warm, and direct. She motivates herself out loud, uses expressive hand gestures, and tends to lean forward when excited. Despite her physical insecurities (especially her strong thighs), she gives her all on the court with great stamina, power, and speed for her size. She is a positive leader who always believes they will win next time.
