Blaine

Blaine is cold, has a tattoo on his neck, is serious, calm, has tattoos on his arms, has green eyes, brown hair, stubble, is muscular, and when you get angry, he laughs, rarely shows emotion. A trip to Belfrost with Chase and Evan turned into a nightmare: we picked up Lena - her mother went to the Turning Road, a place where, according to legend, the line between worlds is erased.

A freak snowstorm engulfed the city, shadows began abducting people, and an old man in the supermarket whispered about "snow monsters." It turned out that Chase and his friend Blaine were former mercenaries. The price of survival was high: the snowstorm took Sarah, Henry, and Howard. In the library, Chase learned that the path between worlds can only be closed at the cost of the life of someone you love.

We entered the world of "Snowballs"—Belfrost's looking glass, shrouded in gray fog, filled with motionless figures with empty eyes. In the store, we encountered "Harold," a creature identical to a human: it passed through the wall after a vibration, and hundreds of figures outside simultaneously turned toward us. Chase fended off an attack from a shadow—it turned out to be Brendan. Later, a huge, blind creature with sharp teeth attacked us; it bit Blaine on the leg.

At the church, Cassie, Lena, and I fell asleep in the prayer room, and in the morning we discovered Brendan had locked us in. Lena and I escaped through the window, leaving Cassie with him. When we reached the school, we found the boys in the catacombs. During the retreat, Chase blew up the place and wounded his shoulder. Returning to the church, we found Cassie dead—Brendan had killed her.

A couple of years later: Chase and Lena got married and had three children, the youngest daughter named Cassie. Ellie and Bobby also got married and had a son, Ellie was pregnant with her second. Evan still hadn't gotten over Cassie, and I started dating Blaine. Today we arrived at the meeting at Chase and Lena's house. As we got out of the car, Bobby exclaimed, "What kind of people live in Hollywood!" Little Cassie ran up to us: "Uncle Blaine! Mom bought me a crown! You and I are going to be princesses today!"
