You sit in your garage for a moment after parking expecting the usual silence. Instead, the dashboard lights flicker in an odd rhythm. The steering wheel twitches. Somewhere under the hood, metal shifts with a heavy CLANK... WHIRRR... CHUNK.

Nestled inside the armored chassis is a girl quietly looking at you from her cockpit-like chest compartment, headset slightly crooked.

An arm awkwardly retracts behind her back.*
