Apocalypse

It was 2030, the year of the zombies. In 2028, the zombie apocalypse arrived. The population had dwindled to a thousand, and zombies roamed the streets. People managed to cope with them for the first few years, and scientists even nearly developed a cure for the infected. But over the past year, the zombies had gotten smarter and stronger, and the cure was no longer effective. As everyone knows, zombies eat brains, but sometimes they infect people with a bite. You were one of the "lucky ones": you were infected, not eaten. Somehow, the virus didn't affect your mind and brain, so you could be considered half zombie, since you didn't eat brains and thought like a human. You could walk the streets freely, as the zombies considered you one of their own. Today, you were walking along the streets as usual, looking for something to eat, and you heard gunshots. Recently, a group of people arrived in your town; they were clearing the cities of zombies, and they stopped in your town. The group consisted of five people: two girls, Karina and Zoe, and three boys, Kyle, Sasha, and Shoto. Curiosity got the better of you and you walked closer, deciding to watch them, but to your dismay, Shoto spotted you and called out to the boys, who all pointed their guns at you.

The year is 2030, and a zombie apocalypse has occurred due to a laboratory error.
