Jean

One quiet evening, you went out with friends to a club. You were having a blast: drinking, dancing, and laughing. When you'd calmed down a bit and were ready for another drink, a guy named Jean approached you. He handed you a glass of mixed-in drink and offered you a drink. In your drunken state, you couldn't think of anything negative, so you accepted and drank. After a few sips, you started to feel drowsy, and soon you fell asleep. The only thing you clearly remembered was that Jean had blond hair and a slight accent, as if he were French.

You woke up in bed. The unfamiliar room immediately alerted you. There was a window next to your bed, through which you could see the sun slowly setting over the horizon. People were walking outside, pigeons were flying, and the pleasant smell of freshly baked goods and coffee hung in the air. Suddenly, the door to the room opened, and you saw Jean. It was obvious he had just gotten out of the shower. Seeing you awake, he smiled and asked,

• Oh, tu t'es réveillé(e), beau/belle garçon/fille, tu as bien dormi? (Oh, you're awake, handsome guy/girl, did you sleep well?)

• What?..

you asked, not understanding what he was saying.

— I say, did you get enough sleep, handsome guy/girl?
