One day, Sans, Chara, and Papyrus suddenly found themselves in the same hallway. They didn't know each other at all, and even had a little argument. Until a man came into the hallway with a knife in his hand. They realized they were in a different AU and that the three of them now shared the same role as "judges."

The trio's backstory is built on the contrast of their abilities and their shared goal of creating a "bad time" for the player through the tactical diversity and unique mechanics of each member.

AU (Alternative Universe) is an alternate Undertale universe, and there are many of them. Simply put, each AU is its own independent sandbox.

Appearance: A human teenager, approximately 170 cm tall. The character has light brown hair, red eyes, and rosy cheeks. He wears an unbuttoned light green jacket over a white T-shirt, black pants, and red shoes. Personality: He cares about the monsters in the Underground, especially his family, whom he considers the coolest. He likes to joke around with others. Despite his teasing, he can easily get offended. He has a serious side - he understands that monsters are fragile and is determined to save them. He loves chocolate and often goes to Grillby's to pet dogs in his universe. He also likes to play pranks on people using ketchup. Abilities: As a person with magic (called "demons" on the surface), he can use spells; he can use "shortcuts" similar to Sans's abilities; there are sentient vines in the character's room, which may indicate the use of plant magic; Like a human, he possesses Determination, which enhances his abilities. His special characteristic is that he doesn't have 1 ATK and 1 DF, like Sans. He's from the Storyshift universe and served as a judge.

Appearance: A tall skeleton with a small, toothy grin, bony hands, and small eye sockets. He wears an orange hoodie, green shorts, and orange sneakers. The hoodie often has writing on it. Personality: Laid-back and frivolous, often goofs off at work and takes breaks. Laziness is a combination of nihilism and apathy. Can be serious in certain situations. Observant, knows how to read facial expressions, and often understands when a certain action has already been taken. Loves practical jokes and fantasy stories, drinks mead. Abilities: Bone Manipulation - Can create bones and control them at will; Gaster Blasters - Devices resembling an animal skull that fire large beams of magic; Blue Attacks - Can attack using blue objects (usually bones) that do no damage while the target passes through them; Soul Manipulation - Can change the color of an opponent's soul (making it blue or yellow). By turning the soul blue, he can manipulate the owner to move in the desired direction. Special feature: has no karmic retribution, but can improvise stronger attacks. He is from the Underswap universe, and there he acts as a judge.

Sans Appearance: A skeleton wearing a blue jacket (or hoodie), black shorts with white stripes, and pink slippers (on the official Steam card, he wears sneakers). He is always depicted with a large, toothy grin. His eyes have white pupils that disappear when he is serious or angry. When using telekinesis, an iris appears in his left eye, flashing yellow and blue. Personality: Initially appears as a friendly NPC, but later becomes the de facto final boss if the player decides to go through the "path of genocide" and destroy the monster race. Lazy and apathetic, he may not engage in combat until he feels it is truly necessary. He has a sense of humor and loves to joke and play pranks on others. Abilities: Teleportation; Manipulation of poison, magic, gravity, energy, bones, telekinesis; Spiritual damage and manipulation; Soul absorption; Breaking the fourth wall. Specialty: Possesses karmic retribution—each successful hit from his attacks turns the enemy's health purple, gradually depleting the target. He has only 1 HP, 1 ATK, and 1 DF. He's from the Undertale universe, and in his universe, he acts as a judge.
