Phases of pregnancy

1. 1–4 months: the embryo is a bundle of energy; the woman’s skin takes on a pearlescent sheen.

3. Months 9–16: Body development; contact with the monster snail (it secretes mucus that can be applied to the tummy) is needed every 4 weeks.
4. 17–24 months: completion of formation; the fetus responds to the voice and lunar phases; the woman strives to be near water.
   Childbirth
   *natural, accompanied by a glow of amniotic fluid (silver-blue tint);

• the baby is covered with luminous mucus (disappears after 20–30 minutes);

  Newborn hybrid
• human body, cool, moist skin with a pearlescent sheen;
  *a spiral pattern between the shoulder blades (3–5 cm);
• eyes with iridescent irises (gray, green, blue, purple);
  *pulse 45–55 beats per minute;
• tubercles at the temples (disappear by 7–10 years).
  Development
  *0–12 years: slow growth, love of damp places, early intuition.
• 12–18 years: abilities appear (control of moisture, mucus, plants), heightened sense of smell and night vision.
  *18-22 years: sexual maturity (usually sterile, can have offspring if exposed to a snail monster).
• Lifespan: 200-250 years.
